Not finding any "Atalanta"s on tribalpages. Her only new tweet is an @ to me about the weather.

Edit: Trying to follow too many social networking sites at once. Vanessa also has some new messages posted to her Wall on FB. Not sure if everyone can see them or if you have to be friends with her. She added a friend named "Claire Hoskyns". Claire posted on her Wall:

it is an ARG - yay!
wow - lots happened- I was away at mates house over weekend so didn't get chance to log on. does seem to be a lot - is she using all of them or just one mainly? not got much time at moment looking for work. sigh. is there a way to get updates from this in email?

She uses all of them -- blog, FB, and twitter.

Maybe we should start a wiki for it to keep up? I don't know how to do that, though. Embarassed

Edit: new blog post. Says the desk had some old London maps and math notes. Something in Latin:

The only word I got out of that was "each" using an online translator. Perhaps a misspelling?

 		I think "ainmal-sulutit sutlucco" is mirrored. If so, it would actually be "occultus titulus-lamnia", which according to an online translator means "hidden label - metal sheet". "Lamnia" can also mean coin, nutshell, and knife blade (again, according to the translator, and they aren't very reliable), instead of metal sheet.

 		Just a thought. She got that key - which is something she will probably carry on her for a while - even after it's unneeded, due to who gave her it.
She has a hard time remembering passwords.. The key has a string of numbers (73939133). I'd think she'd use that as a password.
Now find the email she uses and I think we can get in to her tribalpages account.

I tried that password on tribalpages (tribalpages.com -- it's an ancestry site) and it didn't work.

However, Vanessa has asked me to join a group on FB called 7393133. Her friend Claire has also added me as a friend.

Vanessa's email address is listed in FB as

Gonna check out this FB group. The description is "talking about keys". I would suggest that if anyone has a facebook, to add Vanessa. Or even make a new one. I have a feeling a lot is going to be filtered through FB.

Edit 2: (sorry for the edits). Claire sent me a message with the friend request:

Edit 3: The info for the group "73939133" is "its a truncated prime". As I mentioned earlier, this number is the largest truncated prime. Keep taking away numbers starting at the right and every number you get (7393913, for example) is still a prime number.

 		I sent her a friend request a few minutes ago. I guess I'll just say I stumbled upon her blog and have just been watching from the sidelines, but that I'd like to help.

That ID bit, the 'key talk' and the group all make me wonder, though... hm.

I still wouldn't throw it out as not being a password though. Quite a few people I know irl use items they carry often to use as or hide passwords.

OH yeah, not going to discount it has a password to something, it's just not working on that particular website. FWIW, @rocketmail.com is part of the Yahoo! community, so it's very possible that it's the only email she's using. It would give her access to a Yahoo! profile and whatnot. Sent Claire a message, as she seems to want to help me get into the family tree website. Just not now. Tomorrow evening, I guess. Claire joined the community "Labrynth" today. Could be a clue. Or she could just have a fondness for the movie.

So, I got a request from Vladimir Sirin on Facebook, with the message: "I cannot explain how I know you. The future is too dependent on the elements of change. Needless to say, the game cannot be won by the red queen. Help me. Angulus Ridet [Greenwich]"

So, I also friend Vanessa and ask her what's going on, while talking to Vladimir.

Fun fact. Vladimir Nabokov used the pseudonym Vladimir Sirin. Vladimir also worked on 'chess problems'. This Vladimir on Facebook seems to be playing a chess problem of his own. The numbers at the start of his posts about chess seem to be a counter of sorts, if that's the case.

IS the email she used for the tribalpages. The password is -not- the number on the key. Though, I assume, based on what I said about password stuff before - she has her password out and in the public - just not obvious. People with bad memory for passwords always leave some hint somewhere to remind them selves.. just gotta find out what it is.

Though I assume that may not be needed really - if she's uploading the stuff to facebook tomorrow.

Awesome, Telos. Too bad I know nothing at chess at all, lol. What do those numbers mean on his wall? From the little bit I've gathered, FB Vlad has a connection to astronomy . I found a mention of "W.J.Neatby, 1895" in an article about an observatory. A Google search for "108XJ", gave me a book on heliocentric astrology.

For some reason, she really wants me to see the tree. I think she's going to be scanning her pages that her uncle had -- "maths pages" and old maps. I think the tree is actually online.

Also still trying to figure out what she was trying to tell me with "ID". Maybe the password is "EGO"? IDK.
