I don't mean to make this seem even more complicated than it possibly can be. but perhaps the other vids by TTA have other melodies in each one? Perhaps they all make a song?

If I didn't know any better, it could be the chorus from Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da by the Beatles

It's okay, I just like doing that to people xD It's a valid assumption, because some of the other videos DO have melodies in them, we've just already said it (: haha

I found some site that let's you put in notes, and then searches for related melodies... and it was something that came up and sounded sort of similar...ish

Sounds to me like the first few notes of "In the Hall of the Mountain King" (Peer Gynt). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRpzxKsSEZg
Mountain = Tower? Mountain King = Slendy? Just a thought.

But what about Foshay Tower? It was written by John Phillip Sousa and has not been played much because he refused to until the man he composed the march for payed him.

A lot of it is woodwind-heavy, but the last thirty seconds or so could be what TTA is sampling.

The regards clip is very Sousa, but upon sifting through tons of marches and classical pieces, I can't find anything that matches.
None of my classical snob/music theory friends can find anything that matches this either.

Scratch that. I didn't account for the whole "tempo" thing.
This might be it.
Fanfare for the Common Man - Aaron Copland
Speed this up and distort the hell out of it....
YouTube: Link
Found the first page of the score, similar-ish to what Trucont heard if you count in distortion...? If someone with the software could slow down the regards clip that would be wunderbar.

Not sure which "song" you guys are trying to figure out, but I saw a video on youtube earlier of one of the TTA videos where they reversed the audio, turned up the pitch, etc etc and it turned out to be an old timey song. Wish I could find the video though.

In the regards recording, I'm fairly sure there were some snares with straight eight notes and I didn't hear that in that song, but I think it could be close.
