10/3 fast nationals

Push is holding (dismally) steady with a 3.5 rating, 5 share....not good news...

Excerpt of the above article:
"Push" on the other hand once again continued to drown with 3.5 rating and 5 share, barely above last week's 3.4 rating and 5 share but once again below every airing in its time slot during the 2001-2002 season. You can certainly expect cancellation or hiatus news on Monday."

For comparison:
http://tv.zap2it.com/news/dailynielsenrankings.html?28331
"ABC slumped to fifth place with "Push, Nevada," 3.2/5."

The difference in the comparisons between futoncritic's numbers and zap2it's, as futoncritic notes in its disclaimer, is that UPN and WB are not included in the fast national ratings system, so futoncritic calculates ratings points WITHOUT reference to the two networks, while zap2it extrapolates the most likely results of the overall nationals given the most recent available Neilsen overnights ratings for UPN and WB (which are only released for the largest viewing markets, as opposed to using a staistically random sample of national households). Therefore, you're always going to see a difference of a few ratings points between the two boards since their formulas for calculation are different and z2i is spreading those ratings points across networks that fc is ignoring. Personally, I prefer futoncritic's methodology as a way of measuring short-term stats, since the difference all shakes out in the weekly Neilsens anyway, but YMMV.
