There are seven holes in the mask. There are also seven pages in the file name. Take each in page in turn in the order given and use the holes in the mask sequentially from left to right, top to bottom to extract letters.

This gives "evidence," and if you go to evidence.html, there is a video waiting for you.

can someone explain this to me?

i get the seven holes, but where'd the letters for evidence come from?

If you place the mask over the first page from the list of pages in the name, the "e" shows up in the first hole in the mask. If you repeat this process in order, you'll get the letters.

I'm sooooo, sorry guys. I think I got the code card thing before everyone. I haven't had time to read through everything but watched the video. I think I got it first coz he said 'I want you to be the first' but sadly I've been bed bound with flu for the last week and haven't been online (had loads of emails to read through today, still not done!). But well done on the solve, it seemed the obvious thing to do and now it appears more like a game than ever before so I hope I'll be here more to help now that I'm a little better,

You had the flu too? That's what I have been in bed with since Thursday. It then turned into bronchitis and an eye infection. I think HatShoe infected us via email!

Glad to have you back with the living!

If that's true, be happy that you're not the third Wink

There is a new page up on the site called Fern. It is a comic strip called Fern Gully 3D. Here is the wiki on the movie with almost the same name (less the 3D).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FernGully:_The_Last_Rainforest

Oddly, the character in the strip is asked to turn blue and ends up looking a lot like a character from the new movie Avatar. Possibly Mr. Shoe sees a similarity between the two movies.

I have not seen either.

Try to keep your pecker to yourself while I'm off telling your secrets, Carl. This Friday 8 PM. Omegle.com yet again.

It is a character from Avatar...The guy in the wheelchair(In the note the guy seems to be sitting down) was offered his legs back if he went to go get the resources from those indigenous people. So when he used his avatar, he got his legs back and was turned into one of them. He then lives with the indigenous people, learning of their culture nd such. Like Zak does. When Zak is shrunk, he starts to understand the fairies viewpoint of everything happening. He then joins forces with the fairies to stop Hexxus(or in the case of Avatar, I would say the general) from destroying such a beautiful natural environment. They also extract resorces from the forest(lumber) like in Avatar where they want the precious minerals. That's what I got from it. There's definitely a correlation. And can someone check up on the way he spelled most of those words in fern? They were as follows: U 2 B blu K

Also in the Evidence note on hatshoes page, was that other part in it with the box and how the video should show up in it? Even though the video doesn't.

I was right about Carl being used as a mode of communication with us it seems. Seems like another hunt will commence. I, unfortunately, won't be joining you all this time around Sad I have matters to attend to on Friday.

That's it for now. Time for sleep.

I emailed HS a few days ago asking if there will be more evidence and videos for us. I thought he had just given up on everyone and I got a response this morning:

Quote:
There indeed may be.
It depends on how well I can investigate.
Friday is the time for answers though.

I had the VHS, too. I watched it constantly because Christian Slater was one of the voices in it.
