Started lurking on Something Awful, found the Paranormal Images thread and eventually found a link to the Marble Hornets vids.

Well first I saw an image on 4chan, a creepy image of a handprint on a window, way higher than anyone could reach, with a fake Snopes article attached to it. I tried to search to find the orgin, but I didn't know about SM at that point, so I gave up. The image kinda freaked me out still.

Later I found the videos on something that was linked on Cracked.com. The image I saw suddenly made sense!

Then I somehow did a search, found out that the evil entity's name was Slenderman, and found the Something Awful thread where it originated. Then I found the thread on SA about Marble Hornets, and this forum was linked there, and I came here!

Someone mentioned it on "BasilMarket" on the chat section of the forums. I got addicted to MarbleHornets, and then googled a forum for it.

My friend has an account on SAforums. He heard of it and showed me about it. I grew interest in it, he kinda just left it alone. I starting watching these when Entry #16 was new...

Lurker here, obvs. I found out about Marble Hornets back around Halloween on ONTD, an LJ community. We were having a ton of creepy posts for fun around that time, and one of the mods linked to the videos. Needless to say, the videos were so intriguing that I started doing some Google research, and was linked here via the MH wiki.

Anywho, this is my first ARG that I've really followed. Because of this, and because of these forums, I'm considering registering and picking a new one to follow once Marble Hornets is through. I'm glad I got linked to this one!

I was lurking on the SA forums on the CAD mock thread, when someone posted a comic mentioning 'Slenderman'. Had no idea who that was, Googled, and one thing led to another, I ended up here. Via a few sleepless, terrified nights, o' course. Shocked
