I've got a bit of spec for asset: suppose that (assuming that this is in fact the same cop who administered the lie dectector test to Jan) since he knew she was lying even though she passed the test and realized she had something to hide (he could probably figure out that the burning of the firehouse was more than a coincidence), he blackmails her and gets her to kill someone for him.

He says himself that she was " an asset to solve a problem. You were just dumb enough to make yourself available." That says to me he's using her. Sorry if this is trout.

I think you guys are right with your speculation. The last line was indeed the "dog" line. I misquoted it because I didn't understand the word dog

In to_do, someone (a girl) is being beaten badly. You can hear the blows and the screaming. At the end, you hear the blippetybleep sound (like a recording) and then a guy says something (presumably the cop) and Jan says, OK, what do you need me to do.

Hey all... First post but hopefully not the last.

I know Asset is hot now, but I answered the first call 1547 PDT. Played my part in the whole thing

Anyhow, since you have a transcript and the file itself, just wanted to give credit to the three of us that were there and share the images.

The axon/phone in question was in the Food Court at the Mall of Georgia, located in Buford, GA. The call came in right on time. I was searching for payphones near the entrances when I thought... "Maybe the food court...". Sure enough - JT Taylor, a fellow beekeeper, was standing near a bank of 3 payphones. I asked him, "Do you know the Operator?", to which he replied "Of course I do!". We talked for a minute, and he told me there was one other person there. This turned out to be Vortech from these forums. He was monitoring a bank of phones upstairs from us, so after we had both listened, JT went to retrieve him. Vortech and myself were able to take some limited recordings at the time (which is for naught since the axon is hot now!)

Damn dude, your phones look like they were in a five star hotel. I had to sit in a smoke filled beat up mom and pop waffle house drinking coffee out of a cup that had lipstick stains on it while standing in a puddle near the rest rooms while waitig for my call to come.

I was at the 15:43 raining_cops, it goes something like this:

Hiroyuki and Kamal talking. Sounds like the same setting as beer/four goats, but at a different time maybe.

Kamal was going home from somewhere and suddenly found himself surrounded by cops. Somehow lost his "chatter". There was a spin up at the start, but I don't think there was a spin down at the end.
