@dawn: Yup, "Girls Hindered With A Cherubic Frill" is the same pic right side up. A tad different when opened with Notepad. That's not important this time I'm thinking.

 		HI AUZ. Sorry, no IRC chat yet. Likely the immediate help Vlad means is in identifying the portait on the prev. page. He's prolly of German or Austrian origin as V. Sirin reads our FB profiles. Had no success at "Tineye" even with a cropped JPEG. OK?

 		Just woke up - still sick, so my brain isn't working as well as it could.

I'm thinking about taking back my statement about kings and queens keeping their info underwraps for now. I was thinking, when I originally said that, that it would be best for us to work it out as it seemed that the two groups had to do a lot of work together to figure it out, but.. I can't figure out my info at all.

I want to know how Vlad took what appears to be one image, but, when it's copied to wordpad, it changes the image. He did it with a picture in the document he emailed me, and it appears he's done it with others...

I have to leave for work in about an hour Sad I hate having to work when there's so much snow to play in!

But anyway, yeah, I've been trying to figure out the Kings' documents and can't wrap my head around them. One is a quote from TS Eliot's "The Wasteland". There's a picture of a "priest king", which I found the original source for. The Wordpad picture is the "priest king" and a picture of the excavation.

The thing I'm really having issues with is there's a code we can't figure out. It says "chess moves", but James tells me they aren't really chess moves. I'm going to invite everyone to the private FB group I set up last night to compile some of this information. I wanted something separate from Vanessa's group. If you don't get an invite, I'll make Beka and James officer/admins.

I haven't managed to id the photo but i think the phrase "Girls Hindered With A Cherubic Frill" might be an anagram... or a crossword puzzle. Phrase is not know elsewhere.

Aren't 'Psalms' basically 'lyrical songs'? I thought it would have been something Beethoven related, but, for some reason that seemed more likely.

The black bird is probably a raven. Vanessa had a similar dream about a raven and a "pale fire". I wonder if Frank (the rabbit from Donnie Darko) symbolizes either being late for a very important date, or time is running out for Alice.


I think the black bird may actually be a rook. I've asked her in a comment whether the bird looked like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Rook-Mindaugas_Urbonas-1.jpg.

 		Embarassed Only came online for a sec to post the solve which was Hex into ascii and then run thru' any good letter substitution site or tool. I use Decrypto 8.5

ETA: beautiful psalm, very appropriate and reckon you are spot-on, Telos.
