this might be off tipoc (or on topic? not sure at this point) but where are we on the puzzle box? are we still figuring out the latest clue or are we waiting for the box to update so the keyword will work?

Right now we need to know which craft made it through the Frozen Triangle and survived. So I guess we need more info, probably from Lynch's book.

New recording of Jeremiah Lynch. You can hear a very apparent Irish accent slipping through. Unless this is the one you guys have been talking about...

Woo hoo! Go mark! He goes to find Lynch who attempts to kidnap him, Mark pulls out his gun and Ulrich Broder pulls up with the getaway car. Celeste is safe in Valais, Mark is going to see her. What an update.

Wow... that IS quite an update.

And now Mark has finally met Lynch face to face... so I guess he isn't the captain after all. Shocked

Also, given that Celeste is safe 400 miles away, I'm thinking that Mark never heard from her at all... Lynch forged that note just to get Mark to the hotel and find the other note, thus to force him into a meeting in the hotel.

I wonder...

Man that was huge! My big curiosity is how bad Lynch was hurt when Urlich whacked him with the car. Most likely not hard enough for my liking. Twisted Evil

I admit I'm a little surprised that Mark hasn't figured out to look in Lynch's book yet.

Ok, so an odd observation - if you click on the listing of Mark's radio messages, the handwriting for the message from Celeste is completely different than Mark's (not to mention Roget and Celeste)- did someone take it for him? 2nd Mate maybe? Or mayhaps the message came in AFTER he left the ship for his Lynch confrontation - someone straighten me out if I've missed something here please.........

That is interesting. There's quite a noticeable difference in handwriting. Her name is spelled wrong too. Spelled like a sailor would spell it. Smile

My thoughts exactly - 2nd mate must be? The phrasing is like a message taken, not a note to one's self. Bet Mark was pissed he missed that call. Smile
