[INFO] Alternative to payphone-directory.org

I emailed the owner of www.payphone-project.com and he gave me a few links that should be useful. If you can't find the phone you need on payphone-directory.org, be sure to try these sites as well.

There are actually a few collections on the site. Here are the best links to them:

half-million number database lookup:
http://www.payphone-project.com/numbers/search.html

open listing of New York City and state numbers:
http://www.payphone-project.com/payphones/usa/212/1/
http://www.payphone-project.com/payphones/usa/718/1/
http://www.payphone-project.com/payphones/usa/315/1/

Old format, much of this out of date but still useful
http://www.payphone-project.com/numbers/usamap.html

One thing about using a city name in the search is that it will return the results for every phone that has that name in the location, not just the phones in that city. It's explained better on the search page. Hope this helps, especially to our team in New York.
