ok, it's like, 5 AM here, I am extremely sick, and I just had an epiphany.

The Operator symbol....what if it doesn't symbolize that Slendy has no face?

What if it is in reference to the hole Jay found? The X over the circle meaning either don't go down there, or something is down there that no one should see.

Shouldn't really be a problem, considering that if said horrible thing is so easily accessible, all J would have to do is reach down and grab it, and since that didn't happen, I'm guessing it would not be so quickly unleashed upon the world.

Besides, no one could actually fit down that hole. Not unless they were preternaturally...erm...slender. Hm.

...Only problem is that the hole looks like... 1/2 meter deep, max? What bothers me here is that there's something that looks distinctly black to me behind the trees, right in the center of the screen, when he looks up. Might be nothing but it looks out of place.

In one of the twitpics, it's of the hill; There is what looks like 3 figures standing on the top right. 2 of them are side by side, and a third is at the far left.

I doubt this is anything though, but I just thought I might mention it.

my thoughts would be it is ToTheArk and masky, with ...SM himself?

I think the tape will reveal a huge plot twist, something that happened to all of the people involved with MH which they have all since forgotten about.

That or Sarah's/Brian's body being stuffed into that hole in the ground, I think we will discover their fate before Alex's.

I also had a thought; I'm not aware if anyone has mentioned this previously, as i've mostly been reading the forums on SomethingAwful (wanted to post, but apparently you have to pay for an account?!), but what if the strange crossed out circle sign is merely where they marked their locations for filming? I don't have any previous experience with film making, so I'm unaware if this is something you would do whilst location scouting. Just an idea i'm throwing out there.

You know, maybe people are overexagerating this...
Before #20 came out, people would say it would show us info about TTA or SM and have huge twists and show the fate of Alex/lots of answers....
Then before J went to the tower, people started saying there would be a final confrontation between Masky and J with a huge chase with SM and creepy stuff, etc...

Maybe this tape will only show something like Tim filming Alex around or something, you know, important information but nothing out of the world. I don't think it will be about a fight to death between Alex TTA and SM in the middle of a forest on fire....
I mean I could be wrong (and I hope I do since I want more awesome stuff to happen), but with the pace this thing is going from after Return maybe it's still going to continue this way

I mean, when #17 came up J said something like "I found a pretty disturbing thing" and it was just a sighting of SM and J not remembering stuff (and the usual distortion), it's as disturbing as the previous entries. Maybe J is also overreacting to this tape and it will be something we've already seen by now, like a sighting of SM, masky, or Alex running around or J not remembering stuff, etc
