Definitely pipes.

If the guys wanted you to SEE Slendy, it would be VERY clear he was there. Think back to all the vids where he is shown.

Yeah, it looks an awful lot like the model they used in Entry 12. I've been debating with myself about whether it's supposed to be Slendy, 'cause it seems so small, but it really, really resembles what we saw in 12.


Also, it makes NO sense why we call the O-X symbol the Operator symbol. That mark has never been associated with TTA except that they were once in the same general area. The Stigma, on the other hand has been shown a couple times in seeming parallel to Operator. Yet that one is largely ignored. The logic here fails me.


could you do a quick side by side? The model in 12 looks like a real size SM they put about 100 feet in the distance, and in this the pipe looks 2 feet tall.

The blood looks very..like it was caused by a gunshot.

 		couldnt be a gun shot umless the victim went to 2 seperate areas to spread his blood over, and I agree that its a pip cuz why would he be in the background?

He decides that the only way to beat Slender Man is to join his friends and forget. He stops taping himself and is going to burn all the tapes destroying any record and allow him to be wiped clean as well.

However Jay wants the tapes. So Alex, deciding that perhaps Jay can remember what happened, gives them to him. A last glimmer of hope at getting some rational answers to an irrational situation. Alex resigned himself to his fate but still has hope of answers.

We know Jay doesn't even remember working on MH so we know his memory is wiped or GONE. Alex does still want to forget so he gives the stipulation to not ever mention or show the tapes to him again, lest his memory be jogged as well.

Things are good for three years until Jay decides to watch the tapes, spurred by talk of SM on Something Awful. Jay starts to remember, but so do Alex and Tim (post interview).

Alex wants to help Jay and leaves him clues in the form of TTA responses guiding him to where he left the #22 tape. Jay had become the holder, container or ARK of the tapes. The videos are addressed as such To The Ark=Jay.

Tim does not want to remember, he wants to stop Jay and bury this thing in his memory again, he is Masky. We also know that Tim was "sick" long before Alex was meaning that he may have more at stake in remembering then Alex. Hence his more vicious attitude towards it.



Also, and I don't know how it fits. "Bleed more", the bullet casing, and following a trail of blood all link together some how.

I also don't think Slender Man is evil, at least in our sense of the word. I think he is simply part of the natural order of things that we are not suppose to see or understand. The knowledge of his existence makes us physically and mentally ill because we can't reconcile it with the way we see the world. However he has the ability to wipe the memories of him and restore order. Of course a mind wipe, no matter how beneficial, never seems friendly. Think MIB.


This is the best theory so far in my opinion. Explains the whole story using facts from the entries and little random speculation. It also doesn't try to explain things we don't know anything about, which is preferable to pulling things out of your ass to try and complete your theory. Well done, sir.

 		So, out of curiosity... has any progress been made or anything new discovered since the video came out? I mean, in 23 pages, what have we learned that the movie didn't tell us?

 		I just went from understanding most of this to being pretty confused...Anyway, why are half the people in this thread like, "OMG I PISSED MY PANTS THAT WAS SO SCARY!" That was probably one of the most useless out of all of them. Alex and Seth explore a house, get slender'd, Alex films himself before giving the tapes to Jay. There are a few things that can be analyzed like the blood, etc. but other then that...Dissapointing Confused

 		Ok guys I know we are all sick of theories but please hear this out,

In Entry 5 they mention that the "tower" could have been used for the fire department, the building they were in was all delapidated and burned. Fire departments have test fire houses they use to practice meaning that they would be all burned up and crap. Its POSSIBLE that thats where they were.

Secondly to the fingers theory, I agree something is there. BUT!!! I've watched the video several times -and as these photos will show- right when Seth turns the corner it looks more like an arm moving.

(pure speculation warning) the arm -or what I believe is an arm- or the person I would say looks like he is wearing a light hoodie, I say tis because to me it looks like it has wrinkles and it looks like a light colored object -because of the night vision- and therefor is NOT SLENDER MAN'S SUIT. which means that it might not have been slenderman.

-edit- I have no comment on the blood, perhaps this is slendermans lair

Look at these to see where the object is but I highly recomend watching the entry between 5:00 and 5:03 to see the way it moves

 		Realise that at the end of the video, Alex names all the people affected by the slenderman. This means at first Alex was alone in parnoia or the other people had their memories erased.

Well, it's a horror series, so it wasn't useless, since it did what it set out to do, make the viewers shit brix and stay awake until doomsday. Not ENTIRELY useless. Just fun for the watchers, and basically useless except for about 30 seconds to people who like speculation and putting the mystery together.

Cheer up, your pants were scared off! That's the point!

Trust me watch the video and watch it move and it's not transparent thats the motion blur from the object.

 		It seems like the only people able to remember anything related to Slenderman were operators of the camera - Alex (director of Marble Hornets before he began filming himself), Seth (the previously unnamed cameraman) and Jay (after finding the tapes, has begun to film himself.)
Brian, Tim and Sarah had no memory because they were actors, not the ones using or viewing the footage.
