I sent an answer to the address but got a undeliverable bounce back. Can anybody see the text above the tunnel in the 105 pic? looks like catoctin, which is a national park apparently but no mention of a gateway 105 there that I could find...

 		Well, someone is forking out for orbitalcolony.com and its hosting.

I'm wary as to whether this is OC, as freeweb doesn't seem like exactly the best way to launch an ARG especially with one that had such an interesting start through eBay.

By the way, any idea what the binary might mean, as well as the strange symbol?

The binary is just sequential numbers, but as to it's purpose...meh. Also, the symbol looks like an eye, looking at the numbers. But perhaps I'm just imagining things.

I sent the same answer, and I did get the undeliverable message... (it took a while though) so maybe you just have a lazy postmaster for your email proggy... Laughing

1.2.3.4.5.6.7.8.9.10.11.12.13.14.15.16? That is what the binary translates into. It's hardly a name, but at least it's another guess.


I suppose the more rational solution would be that we simply can't move forward for now; but that doesn't seem right - why else would they send us the link if we can't really do anything?

I tried the name on the tunnel too but got no bounce when i sent it today (yet anyways). I also sent the name of the contact for the whois lookup on the domain. Yes, I know it's just a subdomain, but the state was the same as where the real tunnel is located I think. We'll see... Sort of a weird question to ask since there hasn't been any real references to the name yet, just some hidden links and a innoculous pic. Maybe someone needs to go check the tunnel today for the next piece? Since the date was given and no obvious updates have been made giving out new clues or info, I am starting to wonder what the C.H.E.C.K. means beside the pic with the date there. Anyone in the area there?
