Good thinking. But time does not nessesary mean a time of the day. It could be a time in history. Like 40 b.c. or something. But give it a shot, you can not be more than wrong.

I sent him this

You have given us 40
That, I can see
But is that a Time, or a Date?
Maybe?

Is there more than one Zero?
Or is there only one?
Is the Zero significant?
Or is the significance none?

40

Not a bad start for me I guess!

I don't think it would be a time or a date.
We've already got 4 and 0. He said we need 5 more. So it's a seven digit number. Possibly a phone number maybe.

Figured I'd send another one out. Maybe it'll give us more clues, although it's still a shot in the dark.

Quote:
You want a place
well I want a time
Perhaps we can find it
even through rhyme

The first numbers you have us
were four and zero
maybe this guess
will make me a hero

Let me ask you a question
about your intentions
why pick the bible
for your cryptic mentions?

Is there another method of contact
or is there just this way?
It doesn't much matter
I guess I have no say

You've pointed to 2
but my next guess
is a much different number
My rhyming's a mess...

The next number you seek
I don't really know why
Its the nice number three
The first digit of pi

I'd agree with this. You could also look at a phone number as a place, as it connects you with some other place.

Please excuse my tardy reply,
I'll understand lividity.

Though this clue is late,
your research is in depth.
It gives me hope for further clues,
I'm not wasting my breath.

The next number that you seek
is hard to find in science.
It's hard to find it anywhere,
they keep looking, but can't find it!

Yesterday At 7
I'm thinking he could be talking about absolute Zero?
No one has been able to make it that cold, at least that's what my chemistry teacher said

I feel pretty confident that it's absolute zero, yeah. It should, theoretically, exist, but no one has gotten there yet. Sounds like a shoe-in to me.

So that means our new number is −273.15 on the Celsius scale!

I decided to try and take the intangible into the other direction, though I think this is a shot in the dark.

Quote:
A value can't be found,
freinds divided up by naught,
I pondered and I wondered,
with trouble I was fraught,

Perhaps this time intangible,
a eight placed on its side,
INFINITY's you answer,
if not I'll be suprised

A little late as I've been on vacation, but this is my reply thus far, awaiting response....

Quote:
As for a place, there's many I've been.
From war I just came, where I'm sure I'll go again.

The sands there tan, the blood I spilt red,
the carbon of smoke black, from bombs which create death.

My homelands are mountains and desert, a palate they paint in the sky.
In Tahoe the white snow is endless, in the red Valley of Fire, the
lands are parched dry.

A soldier I am, and in a green forest I be. Drab olive we wear, and my
favored hue is this green.

So I don't know if I said this already but I sent this:

Quote:
So 7 was wrong
for the first clue
but did Noah not take 7
of each bird in through
the doors of the ark
where they lay safe from the flood
for forty days and forty nights
because he was good

And He said:

Quote:
Your thoughts are very clever,
your path so far is true,
somewhere within your poem however,
I've received a clue from you!

Then I said (Before reading the 40 comments above...):

Quote:
So is the answer 40
or 80 the above times 2
for those are the only things
that I could percieve as clues

So now I know that the single answer is 0 and the overall answer is 40 so I'll await a reply and hopefully another clue.

3 days to reply and I'm the late one?

3 days late? 3's a prime number. If we're going with single digits still, that's 1,2,3,(4),5, and 7.
