I'll be attempting to get pigeon 08:09 PDT. It looks like it's right to the south of Factoria Mall in Newport/Factoria, WA

Eastside comes through again. I hit the 8:09 pigeon after fighting through the traffic, making it with a full 2 minutes to spare. Very Happy Didn't see anyone else there.

(edit) As noted in previous posts, the 8:09 was the right hand USWest phone right outside Target in the Factoria mall. It's got a nice LCD display that reads "Phone is ringing. Please answer" when the call comes in.

My friends and I got this one yesterday. It's the phone right outside of Tully's Coffee at Market and Leary, for future reference.

Kidk,

I really should RTFM. I'm a newcomer to ILB and saw that he Factoria Mall one was within a couple miles of some place I needed to be at this morning anyway... Too bad I didn't scroll up to read the previous posts in this topic. Ah well, I blame it on being up too late when I read it.

Still, it would have been nice to say hello to another beekeeper. Most of the people here where I work are clueless as to what's going on.

I'm just glad I made it on time since only three of the pigeon sites went hot. I work relatively close to Factoria, so the location wasn't bad, just the time. I only saw a couple of people total (because of the time), and most were obviously shopping, although there was one man who walked by about a minute before the phone rang, went in to where the police station is and then walked out and headed the other direction right after the phone call.

As for downtown, I'm in the same boat as Wynn. If there are still cold axons when the weekend rolls around, maybe I'll make him take me with him when he goes.

Glad you hit it, kidk. Like I said, I would've been there if my damn truck hadn't been kidnapped.

What's happening in Capitol Hill? It's a big goose egg this round so far. Are you all leaving them all for me and kidk on Saturday?

It's looking like I might not get my vehicle back until Monday, so I'm stuck at home until then, unless I can get one of my friends to drive me around. If I figure out a means of transportation for myself I'd love to help out with the Capitol Hill and other Seattle axons. But that's if I can.

I was in NY this weekend, and have been killing myself with work all week, so I've been kind of lagging behind with all the beekeeper jazz. However, if there are any cold seattle axons left on saturday I'll also be out there hunting them down.

I'm trying to coordinate efforts for people in the Seattle area that frequent another board to get to the following axons:

code_word 12:51 PDT 47.62417 -122.320556
real 16:27 PDT 47.62475 -122.345514

can anyone happen to point me to a post that details exact where and which payphones receive these transmissions?

Wynn picked me up and we went over and lit up the 12:51 code_word axon. He's been doing all the leg work so I'll let him post details on the phone itself.

I believe we're also planning on heading to cap hill tomorrow a couple of times to light up the rest if we can.

12:51 is hot! kidk and I went down for a long lunch. It was exactly where I predicted it would be (see the beginning of this thread).

This one was important for a couple reasons. First, the WAV was not yet unlocked. Second, it is right in the middle of the day with nothing in the else within 3 hours or so. This means tomorrow when kidk and I go hit capitol hill, we can do it in 2 trips. One for the 9:21 and 9:59. And Another for 15:37, 15:39, and 16:57.

16:27 and 17:15 are a little farther away, so we may or may not attempt those.

Finally a place for the Seattle people to organize! I've been really busy with work that I haven't had a chance to get out and enhottenate any of the axons.

At any rate, if these new axons from the SP are any indication of things to come, we've got our work cut out for us. I'll do what I can, provided work is flexible!

Are there any axons near Husky Stadium that need to be hit between 11:30 AM and 2 PM? I'll be down on Montlake Blvd. tailgating at my RV in a Texaco parking lot for a couple hours on Sunday, so if there are any axons in that area that will need to be hit, I can get them (if they're in semi-reasonable walking distance).
