If the creators decide to make a DVD once the series is finished, any price set for it will undoubtedly bring in very little actual profit, since this is by no means a wide-release film or anything. They'll have to independently create, advertise, sell, and mail DVDs, or have an undoubtedly huge commission fee with an outside entity. Either way, they'll be making very little profit per sale. Plus, as far as anyone knows, this is an independent enterprise with no budget or outside funding -- which means the creators are already paying all expenses from their own pockets. That's not an insignificant amount -- something like this takes time and equipment. And considering you ALREADY have the whole thing available to you for free, right there on the internet whenever you want it, it's pretty absurdly selfish of you to expect any kind of reduced fee or FREE merchandise JUST for being a fan earlier than someone else was.

This isn't a seekrit fanklub here. Either you appreciate the work enough to pay for it, or you shut up and watch it on YouTube. Being part of a forum about it, or being a follower early on in its publication, doesn't make you special or better than anyone else.

This. I mean, if you want a DVD, MAKE ONE.

YES. I could easily download them and slap em on a few Cds, take an old Cookie Crips box, glue some crap on there, and call it the DVD collection that only I got.

100% this. I'd have no probably giving these guys a healthy donation now, just to help them out. Like he said: they're paying for all of this out of their own wallets. It must cost something significant.

Count me in the camp that feels that one ought to be able to profit from their own intellectual property.

Found out my last DVD was all scratched up and I'm pissed. I need to get some tomorrow. I'll try to make one.

That sounds like a good idea. In fact, it sounds like an idea I've had over a month ago. One that I've written out a script to and sent requests to get my friends to make animations for a title screen and so that I can include some of the twitter posts (which are vitally important to the story and can be used to help explain the puzzles of the totheark replies).

So yeah, suffice it to say I've already set the wheels in motion so that when Marble Hornets is finished being produced and all the videos are released, I'm going to make a DVD out of it.

If there's a DVD in the making - whether for free download to be burnt by the downloader, or for actual sales and distribution, I think it should have the final ok by Jay and company.

Also, I think designing a full featured DVD would be great. Do all the videos and TTA responses, see if they'll give us any behind the scenes stuff, get shots of all the sketches and other important props, all of that. Include history on Slendy as well.

Shit, if it gets done and made, I may buy two or three of 'em. Would make great gifts for some of my MH obsessed friends.

No offense but that looks somewhat low quality. At least have the font look Marble Hornets-y.
