This hit me on the way to work. in the new audio there is mention of it beeing a week later. well it is also a week later for us as well. This sounds like to me that the story line that we are hearing is parallel to OUR story line here and now.

 		I agree with CoffeeJedi. Aiden is a very manipulating person: he grabs onto Kamal's easily-readable emotions concerning Sophia and himself and deliberately confuses him emotionally. He speaks quickly and jumps around on several topics, so that Kamal can't answer one statement before the next is dumped on him. Then he pins him into coming to dinner while Kamal isn't thinking straight.

Prediction: Aiden is trying to snooker Kamal into working for him; perhaps blackmailing him as well.

Conclusion: I sure hope the guy stupid_cop does in is Aiden.

Aiden: If you think she's a whore, then

Kamal: Don't say it!

Aiden: If I had given her that before we made up, Sophie would have run me through with a butcher knife.

Kamal: Good. I.. mean..

Aiden: You didn't want to be disappointed.

Kamal: I'm not.

Aiden: I'm a good judge of people, Kamal. You're not.

Kamal: (offended) You shouldn't assume anything about me.

Aiden: (on top of Kamal, again) You think I'm stupid. I'm friendly; I smile a lot; that's not what you respect. Ok.

Kamal: (even more offended) Respect?! I don't think this anything to do with...

Aiden: (on top of Kamal, a third time) Ah, not true, you think all the time. So think about the freelance thing. Maybe come by for dinner tommorrow. Sophia's cooking. Sixish?

Kamal: (suspicious) I don't think that would be such a good idea....

Aiden: Look, going to a job interview is *not* accepting a job! It's an interview! Dinner, okay?

 		I agree that Aiden seems to be really smart and he was manipulating Kamal.

But I don't think Kamal is that stupid. I get the impression that Aiden is unaware that Kamal is talking to Hiro after they have dinner on blue_then_red.

I [SPEC] that Durga and Melissa are connected through the mirror. Durga keeps spouting random comments about bees, indicating she is connected to our PRESENT DAY Melissa, stuck on ilovebees.com
Melissa has access to Durga because we are getting these sound files from the future.
When Durga tries to access herself she keeps getting "reflected" like she's looking in a mirror. Doesn't Melissa have a mirror in the tower with her?


My new theory is when the connection through time was made it caused the power inturruption that started all of the first set of wave files.

Does Durga have her own Pious Flea in the furture?

 		cute_little_caps is hot... I was working on a transcript when I realised that someone is posting them all very fast now in this thread.

Not sure where this one fits into the overall timeline. Seems to be before all the ones we've heard so far, but not connected with them.

 		Mirror as a portal
Some of the following is previously spec'd, but:

I like the direction that the "mirror" speculation is going. Durga definitely sees or perceives something hazy in regards to bees when looking at her reflection, so if she is indeed connected somehow to Melissa (a copy, etc.), it is entirely possible that the mirror in the tower is Melissa's side of some kind of portal that serves as the connection.

If that's the case, the axon wav files which Melissa was first interpreting as memories (and she now says are voices being "intercepted") could easily be things that Durga is either seeing right now (or has recorded) in another time or place, as received by Melissa through the mirror in the tower. Perhaps there's a time-delay sort of offset through the portal as well that causes us to see things from slightly in the past or future.

Someone's post mentioned how cool it would be if we were able to communicate something to the characters in the wavs...if this theory holds, I think part of our role as participants may be to either request certain information from the characters in this other place/time through the portal, or possibly even provide information to them in a way that affects the plot.

What if a character like the Pious Flea or the Sleeping Princess is either a "mirrored" character from the other side, or, better yet, one of the characters (or a construct sent by them) such as Kamal whose freelance work perhaps involves trying to connect to this side of the portal?
