Just got another one from the 'protector'. Bunch of stuff to translate.. And it's not as simple as straight translations. It's all in different languages, mixed together.
My head. Ouch.
Any way, I sent him/her back a very rough copy of what I could get.
His/her email had instructions to report directly to them - so no posting on the forums I guess.

Nothing from Protector yet, but I'm basically being interviewed via email by Hellum. No secrets in this one though.

I got a reply about my email regarding the Animus paper and it said this:
Quote:
Jim,
I am delighted to hear that you found my paper on the Animus to be so fascinating, it is always nice to know that someone appreciates your work.
As far as assisting the "cause", the only cause that I am aware of is the Animus projects that we have in progress as of right now.
If you would like to assist in the Animus projects, then I will need a resume. All of the resume's that are sent to me get forwarded directly to the security administrator for background purposes, and then to our hiring manager for further analysis.
Dr. Warren Vidic
So I replied with this:
Quote:
I don't have any real experience in the outlined area's on the site though I wonder if there is anything else that needs done???

Jim, that's not going to get you anywhere.
Not with Vidic.
Vidic is a no-nonsense, straight to the point, blunt man. If you can't give him something he's looking for, he's not going to give you what you are. You need to sound more professional and have -some- sort of skill to do something they're working on.

Jim, I'd go for "research assistant." You probably don't need much experience for that, but remember: This isn't necessarily YOU. We're all playing characters in this. I'm not entirely sure, but the job application process is probably the next step in the game. If all else fails, hell, you could email Frank Hellum directly (his email is on the "most wanted" tab at the Abstergo site) and try get a janitor's job or something. Gardener, Mail clerk, anything that would possibly be a summer or holiday job for a high school kid. Or you could lie, and claim to be an adult college graduate or something.
Just watch out for Frank. I actually got sort of "interviewed" and he was double-checking alot of my background.

Just wing it, Jim, but be sure to have fun with it!
As for me, I haven't gotten a single email in three days. =/And, it's not as though I can send in my resume or anything. So, yeah, I'll be waiting.

Now just to figure out who changed it. C or FH.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I'm supposed to be getting training videos and archive access soon. That may be where it's hosted.

Got a reply back from Mr. Hellum, I suspect it was the same thing that you got, Ifsogirl. Gonna send a reply back basically telling him that if he requires more information, he needs only to ask.

So I finally got around to putting together a resume for Abstergo, I know a little late, anyway here it is:
Quote:
Ok if you need a resume here you go:
Objective: To apply for the position of research assistant at Abstergo Industries.
Details/Experience: My name as you know, is James Andersen Sawyer. I am 32 years of age and graduated from Monash University in the year 2003 and recieved a Bachelor of Behavioural Neuroscience at the Clayton Campas. I went on to do some small odd jobs for two years, but couldn't find a job matching my creditations. I decided to go back to university and got my Masters in Psychological Medicine. I finished that course in 2008 and have been looking for a job ever since. I hope that I will be able to work with your company soon as I can not seem to find one where I am.
Other Details: If any other information is required, please let me know.
~Jim

Thought this was odd. It wasn't there before.
I was looking around for hidden things on the Abstergo site, just as I had done when I originally got the link. Well, I found something 'new' on the career opportunities page.
The black spot is what you get when you do 'select all' in that area. There's a spot for a text box that I didn't see before.
May be nothing, but, iunno.
EDIT!::
It's not just for text. It's a text entry box!
Look what happens when you type IN it!
I think this may be a login field. Not sure though.
I'm going to kee watch on it
