[INFO] Latest Axon .wav Transcripts Here

So, I always find myself wanting to read a transcript of the axons when i'm at work, since I can't listen to them there. But they always seem scattered. So how about adding all the latest ones here?

Jersey: Wait, hang on... Oh, this bit is great.
[Jazz music]
Jersey: My dad loves this stuff. He says... well, he's away a lot, like, years at a time, that drives me crazy. He says this tuff reminds him for what he's fighting for.
Durga: I don't understand.
Jersey: That he can connect. He can listen to this stuff and imagine the people who made it. They cared about the same things we do. Making a buck, finding a girl, rooting for the home team. These old guys... they really knew people. They knew the human heart. That's what my dad says.
Durga: Why are you telling me this?
Jersey: It's a long way away you know. Out to... wherever he is. He get's lonely out there. I wish you hadn't told me.
Durga: What?
Jersey: About my mom.
Durga: Oh.

Jersey: Hang on, let me turn this off.
[Background music stops]
Jersey: You know, I just had a creepy thought...
Durga: A bee dies when it stings you.
Jersey: Yeah?
Durga: But it can also sting you after it's dead.
Jersey: Yuck.
Durga: Curious symmetry.
Jersey: Okay, that's a creepy thought too, but you know what I was thinking?
Durga: What?
Jersey: How spooky it would be if someone was listening to _us_ right now.
Durga: To us?
Jersey: Spying on us. You know, like we're listening to them.
Durga: That would be impossible. I would know.
Jersey: Yeah, I guess you're right. But if they were... Creeeeepy!

Kamal: It's not a girlfriend at the other end of that chatter, it's a gangster.
Hiro: Good looking gangster?
Kamal: Pony tail.
Hiro: This ia what I'm saying. You're in no position to be picky.
Kamal: I was ghosting his chatter, and I sort of let him notice.
Hiro: You did what? You were showing off.
Kamal: Yeah?
Hiro: For a girl.
Kamal: Yeah.
Hiro: For the arrangement.
Kamal: I wish you wouldn't call her that. Her name is Sophia.
Hiro: Huh, her name is trouble.
Kamal: What do you mean?
[Knocking]
Hiro: Did I forget to mention that a good looking guy with a pony tail was coming up to the apartment?
Kamal: Oh no.

Am taking these from the Axon Co-ordination forum. Please discuss them in there (or PM me for edits) -- this thread is just a QuickRef stylee.

Edit: fixed names in "red" - in future, please PM me to edit this post, rather than duplicate things all over the place Smile

Cop: I will deal with you in a moment Mr. Maki. And I will need to see some ID.
Kamal: Red. Red. Red. Red. Red.
Kamal: Those are really great red - red curtains, Aiden
Hiroyuki (Remotely). I thought it was blue.
Kamal: Red!!
Hiroyuki: Okay.
[Beeping sound begins remotely]
Aiden: My friend is very passionate about interior decorating.
<Radio beep>
Cop: I'm going to have to confiscate that chatter.
[Beeping, same as one heard remotely, begins to sound in Cop's radio]
<Garbled radio trans.>
Cop: Copy that. Repeat address please.
<Garbled radio trans.>
Cop: Jesus Christ. I'm on my way. {agitated}
<Radio beep>
Cop: You're a lucky bastard. I've got a priority one. I've gotta go.
Aiden: You have to go?
Cop: Officer under fire – about a block and a half from here.
<Cop walking away>
Aiden: That's it?
Cop: Unit Two-Sixteen responding
<door opening>
backup. I'm less than two blocks from it

In the next one there's debates over whether it's keftedes, kefta or kofta. It's meatballs, whichever it is Smile

Aiden: I'm gonna check on Sophie in the kitchen. Let me get you another beer, dude. Be right back.
Kamal: You there?
Hiroyuki: *on chatter* I'm here...dude. It's raining. I'm getting wet.
Kamal: So, cranial nerves, you hit the buttons.
Hiroyuki: Blue, then red.
Kamal: Yeah. Blue, then red. I think. Yes.
Aiden: Good to have you over. Good for Soph. Someone from home.
Kamal: Thank you. It's nice to be invited.
Aiden: Dinner was good, huh? She's a good cook.
Kamal: Very good. The kefta may be the best I've ever had.
Aiden: Which was that?
Kamal: The lamb meatballs.
Aiden: Oh, yeah. I liked those. Home cooking. So your parents are trying to get here.

Dude wrote:

H: My address book, my schedule, my debit account, every damn thing!
K: Mine is cooler than yours.
H: You just couldn't let me hit that blue button, could you?
(footsteps stop - rustling of plastic bags)
K: That would've pushed the officer under fire alert to my chatter, which was plan A for if Aiden tried to, you know...
H: Pull out your lungs?
K: Don't sound so eager. But as it turned out, I needed the cop to go away.
H: "Away" meaning to me. And "cop" meaning every officer within fifty city blocks. All because I hit the *red* button.
K: The officer under fire alert...
H: ...while it was still on *my* chatter.
K: uh... yeah, but... Sophie sent leftovers!
H: Leftovers?
(plastic containers being opened)
K: Yeah, she made [Marties?], little stuffed appetisers, and spiced lamb meatballs - with real meat! And almond rice, a-and milk pudding. So... are we okay?
H: DUDE!
(wind down sound)

Two differing opinions on the transcript here: it's either a Cop or J². Again, see original thread for discussion, PM me with edits.

Jan: Oh, I, I guess I should have been out on the streets murdering bad guys, huh? Strangling jaywalkers on my way home from school?
Cop: When I was your age I pulled strings so I could join up a year early. Wanted to help save humankind. So you're about the last person on the planet I need a civics lecture from.
Jan: Well you sure as hell need one from somebody.
Cop: What I NEEDED was an asset to solve a problem. You were just dumb enough to make yourself available.
Jan: (sniffling) Look, you just made me help you murder someone. Could you just be a little bit nice to me?
Cop: Yeah...okay.

Kamal: Yeah.
Aiden: You're underestimating her.

Aiden: You talked to her in the last couple of days.

Aiden: She told you about the bracelet.

Aiden: If I'd given her that before we'd made up, Sophie would've run me through with a butcher knife.
Kamal: Good. I mean ...
Aiden: You didn't want to be disappointed.
Kamal: I'm not.
Aiden: I'm a good judge of people, Kamal. You're not.
Kamal: You shouldn't assume anything about me.
Aiden: You think I'm stupid. I'm friendly, I smile a lot. That's not what you respect, okay.
Kamal: Respect? I don't think this has anything to do with ...
Aiden: Ah, not true. You think all the time. So think about the freelance thing. Maybe come by for dinner tomorrow. Sophia's cooking. Sixish?
Kamal: I don't think that would be such a good idea ...
Aiden: Look at this way, going to a job interview is not accepting a job, it's an interview. Dinner, okay?

Kamal: <frustrated> DAMMIT!
Hiroyuki: Or, you've been breaking hearts in the nursing dorms, haven't you? If I look out the window here, I bet I'll see like four of them, standing outside in short skirts and those cute little caps, just waiting.
Kamal: You need a girlfriend.
Hiroyuki: We BOTH need girlfriends ...

Kamal: What's his government number?

Aiden: If Bakri could get a gov't number, Kamal, what would I need to pay you for?

Kamal: All right. [fabric moving/unzipping? followed by tapping- on keys?]But this isn't about money. It's about my family.

Aiden: Bring your parents to Earth? We could talk about that.

Kamal: I just want it clear- if I work for you, you'll see about getting my family here?

Aiden: Kamal, that's what I do.

Cop: Just be on time, we'll take it from there.
Jan: And what's going to happen?
Cop: Well, I'm not going to get an arson warrant for your dad.
Jan: And?
Cop: Don't be late.
{Knocking on Jan's door}
Jan: Yeah.

Wife-beater: W-what did I do?
Cop: Step out of the car, sir. Now.
Wife-beater: What is this? Officer, I just left work. Come on, I haven't had time to do anything illegal.
Cop: {drawing weapon} I'm going to have to ask you to step…
Wife-beater: {interrupting} Hey! What the hell are you doing?

Cop: Cool out Janissary James; you didn't kill anybody. I did.
Jan: You made me part of it.
Cop: That vid you screened, that was my buddy's daughter. If that was you, what do you think your father would have done?
Jan: Leave my dad out of this.
Cop: Too late Jan. Sometime when you were a baby, somebody stuck you with a needle and shot you full of miracles. Smart. Fast. Strong. Never get sick, never get drunk, don't need much sleep.

Kamal: He nearly called her a … you heard what he said.
Hiroyuki: You think I was standing in my bedroom with my ear pressed against the door, eavesdropping?
Kamal: You weren't?
Hiroyuki: Actually I was, but it was really hard to hear.
Kamal: He's so…cocky.
Hiroyuki: Funny choice of words. Maybe it's the jewelry; you can tell she's used to money.
Kamal: I'll need a panic button. A backup.
Hiroyuki: He can keep her in the style to which she's accustomed. W-what do you mean a panic button? You're not going over there…
Kamal: {interrupting} I'll set up a program. Some – some kind of dead-man's switch.
Hiroyuki: Ooohh no. I don't want any part of this.

Kamal: I don't think…it-it would be a good idea to work for you.
Aiden: {surprised} Oh. You mean because of Sofia? Sofia and I worked things out. {to himself} Where's my damn chatter?

Aiden: Sofe, you want to talk to Kamal?
Sofia: {on chatter} Hi Kamal. Aiden's a bastard.
Kamal: Pardon me?
Sofia: {on chatter} {laughs} But he's my bastard.
Kamal: That's…good.

Jan: {sarcastic} Everybody loves a girl in uniform.
Cop: Listen Jan, I need your help.
Jan: Well, I'd crop that blue shirt of yours. Flash a little skin. A little detail on your holster wouldn't hurt either. Accessorize, that's the key.
Cop: Get in the car Jan.
Jan: I can't do anything for you.
Cop: Oh, I think you can. Let's take a ride so I can explain things.
Jan: You can explain things right here.
Cop: Okay. You ever wanna be a cop?
Jan: {sarcastic} Oh yeah, it's all I think about.

Just as a note, thebruce is out of town for a little while... I think he gets back after Labor Day... (next Tuesday)... So don't expect an update to the transcripts until at least then.. (or he will come here and tell you all it's up...)
