[SPEC] Jay is not Jay Honestly how do we know Jay is Jay?
I'm not saying things like OMG Jay is SM
No, I think Jay is Alex. Here's why:
you know that cliche were a person says "i have a friend who has problems BUT IT'S NOT ME"
1) He never shows himself in any video to be Jay. He never talks to it, he uses subtitles. He doesn't show a video of himself narrating.
2) The cameras used in Alex's videos and "Jay"s new videos are the same. Same res, same filming style.
3) In both he gets increasingly paranoid.
4) If you were stalked by the slenderman would you give the tapes away.
5) Maybe something is happening now that accounts for why he is posting them now. (Masky following the real Jay)
6) In video #22 he talks about how everyone is gone (like Jay).
7) The tip for the house was his knowledge of Masky's house
It sounds stupid but anything could be true. What do you think?

Except for the fact that Jay and Alex are both shown and are not the same people. When masky is in the bedroom with Jay? That's not Alex. Yeah.
And this should go in the trailhead.

I would put this in the trail head but now that's AIM swap time.
Also Jay and Alex are different people. But the youtube account is Alex's.
Also Alex somehow got the tape of Jay and masky.
I don't know maybe it's just bad speculation.

You're right. That is bad speculation. If you have to justify your theory with things like, "It's like that because [possibility with no evidence]." then it probably isn't correct.

Entry 19 is recent footage of J - posted by J. We see J filmed by Alex in Entry 13 so we know Alex isn't J. (Also wanted to point out that the YouTube account belongs to J, not Alex).
Alex's confession scene in the last entry made me think this too. The "Tim, and Jay" line sounded like "Tim...is in Jay" - had to think back if we've seen Tim and Jay. Entry 15 did show both people, however it did not show Tim's mouth when he spoke. We see his whole face only twice (when J greets him, and right before the entry ends) - never when he was speaking. Definitely filmed that way intentionally, but I'm not sure what the intention is. Of course, I eventually realized their voices were coming from two different locations, so that shot that possibility down.

I think we DO see Jay as Jay in entry 19.

PLEASE PLEASE shut up about this. It is still, still the stupidest idea I've heard here thus far, and we don't need 60 goddamned posts about it.

It's nowhere near as stupid as when people thought Masky was a robot. -_-

Seriously, is there any need for this?
How about exercising a little tact in making your point. You seem to do this repeatedly and to be honest it comes across as being quite rude.

Why?
It's just as rude/annoying to me to crap up the forms with post after post and topic after topic about something thats completely contrived and stupid, not to mention WRONG. I'll stop being rude once people start thinking before they post.
Or when this forum gets mods.

You seem to believe that rude is synonymous with annoying. This is not true. For one thing, while annoying behavior is relative to the person experiencing the annoyance, rude behavior is at least somewhat objective. You do not get to decide what is rude "to you." If you did, you could decide that wearing red around you was rude, or speaking Spanish within earshot of you was rude. Second, all rude behavior is annoying, but not all annoying behavior is rude. It is not, for instance, rude to have an illogical opinion and to share that opinion, regardless of how annoying it may be. However, to behave like a petulant child with a superiority complex when you would never behave that way (one hopes) were it not for the relative anonymity provided by the internet is both rude and annoying.
The ARG community has precious few places to come and discuss things. Let's not ruin this one with petty attitudinal hissy fits, k?

I don't see the difference between pointing out that posting and reposting this theory after it's been debunked a myriad of times is stupid and pointing out that posting and reposting and reposting the $20 thing is stupid.
Making thread after thread of redundant theory with no basis in the actual series is only making these forums less organized, and the series harder and harder to follow.
