another thing to note is that you can say the name more than once!
last time around i said "Operator" three times at the 82nd ave location before anything happened
it's better than just sitting there quietly until it fails!

I decided to attach the Excel Spread Sheet I made on PDA of the AXONs in Oregon.

It has the old ones and the new ones. Its pretty basic, but that is because I made it on my PDA.

some things got messed up with the uplink to my comp from my PDA. Oh well. If you want to see the times from the old set you just need to reformat those cells for Time - not that it matters.

**SO the Axons we still need to get are:**

pigeon || 8:13 || 45.479183 -122.630390 || Woodstock & 32nd near Reed College
code_nothing || 9:35 || 45.476518 -122.787272 || SW 107th & Allen (Near Beaverton)
my_family || 10:03 || 45.448045 -122.579099 || SE 82nd & King (I was there last time)
frustrated || 11:49 || 45.531351 -122.650215 || Lloyd Cinema (didn't respond to Melissa)
red || 14:37 || 45.455094 -122.578925 || SE 82nd & Clackamas St.
raining_cops || 15:35 || 45.479025 -122.617324 || SE 44th & Woodstock (broken phone, high pitch ring, incoming calls get Error 48 )
asset || 15:57 || 45.453202 -122.579611 || SE 82nd & Lamphier
real || 16:29 || 45.529626 -122.698544 || NW 23rd & Lovejoy (NW Corner [2 phones])
right || 16:51 || 45.526083 -122.698358 || NW 23rd & Glisan (repeat AXON?)
right || 17:01 || 45.479135 -122.615395 || SE 46th and Woodstock

Rock On I forgot to give a shout out to Lincoln City for getting their AXON hot. Do we know you got that one? It was the 9:19 one.

If we can get the 44th and Woodstock one to work, and find where the double of the 23rd & Glisan one is, then we could get all of the ones in Oregon!!

No luck with the 11:49 axon. This on seems to be aptly named. Yet again the AI asked for her real name, i replied with Melissa several time loudly, softly, and slowly, hopeing to trigger it but all i got was a ::giggle:: and a coy no. I havent been able to see if anyone else has had the same problems but the no responce is a difference voice than Melissa's.

I did check the phone and when i first spoke into the phone i heard a beep beep on my cell. its possable that this is causing an error in the voice recognition. Ill try again tomarrow if posable, if some one else trys it they might try saying hello or blowing into the mic while Melissa is talking so that it will cause the beep before the voice rec switches on. I dont know. I am going to try to catch the one on 23rd after work if i can get off a bit early.

vector - maybe try offering a different voice, or get a girl to answer (for a really different voice)

I don't know who got this one last time, but they did get it to work.

For the ones on 23rd. The Lovejoy and 23rd one is believed to be on the NW block at that intersection. There are 3 phones near the coordinates. 2 are on the NW corner and 1 is on the SE corner. Cherry was at the one on the SW corner yesterday and she said that it didn't ring. The two on the NW corner are closer to the coordinate points anyhow.

The second one on Glisan and 23rd is rough. We got the first one to go hot, as you can see, and waited for the second call to come, but it never did. I thought I heard a phone ringing at the time that it was supposed to, so I might be inside somewhere, or I might have just been paranoid. Either way, there are 5 phones that I found there. I checked 3 for incoming calls and they all worked. I didn't notice the 2 directly infront of the Plaid Pantry. SpaceBass says they don't work, so they might not be it. If the coordinate is correct, then I am not sure where else it could be. There are a lot of phones in that region and it will take some help to get. I could only get off work early yesterday, so I can't help again today.

If you can, help at the 16:51 AXON at NW 23rd and Glisan!

I might be able to help tomorrow if I am still needed.

I activated that one in the first set. Didn't do anything special like change my accent or repeat or anything. It just worked. Confused

We atempted the 16:51 axon on glisan but heard no calls. we had 5 phones covered in the plaid pantry parking lot and nothing. checked them all and the two right in front of the store would not accept incomeing calls. Now other mappings (mapquest and the like) have put the GPS location accross the street but i belive that these are wrong. there is nothing but a bridal shop and appartments. And we kindof checked the bridal shop (randomly ran into old highschool teacher and daughter comeing out miniuts after 16:51 and they reported no strange phone calls at that time).

My brother attempted the one on 82nd again but the phone was in use. he is not sure if he will try again tomarrow.

I made a map of the 23rd phones that we covered today and have ruled out if anyone wants to try looking for another phone (because im a big map makeing geek) although i am asumeing that the phone in question is one of the 2 that do not accept calls.

::edit changed out map, other file was a bit large

Barring any acts of God, I should be able to make it to at least some of the freakin' axons tomorrow. I hope. It's turning out that every time I say I can make it to them, something happens and I can't. THERE'S NO REASON WHY I SHOULDN'T BE ABLE TO!!!!! AARRRRRGHHH

nice try Vector... too bad we didn't get it. I wonder where it could be, or if it is an error? I was a little shocked to see a duplicate in the coordinates. But yet the same phone doesn't ring! Oh well.
