I suspect the multiplayer will either be really really fun and will take off like a rocket and will be like the new TF2, or it will end up being fun with some really annoying flaws and it ends up like Gears of War's multiplayer, where only people who really love GoW or can't play anyother games just bum it to death. Or I could be completely wrong and it could be like niether of those.

Sorry to double post, but I don't think we're going to get anymore updates until the game comes out, they might be intending for Mark's story to sort of be completed within the game, and maybe there'll be clues to the box in his continued story.

You mean 1969, right?

well the first game takes place in 1960 (a year after all the 'happy new year 1959' signs everywhere) so since the second game takes place 10 years later then it'd be 1970 in the game.

Oh. Maybe the game and Mark's story have a different timeline. Cause for Mark, it's 1969.

Come on, it's a month and a half before the game comes out, surely we'll at least find out what happened to Celeste!

i know, but i'm pretty sure it was 1969 in his time when it's 2009 in our time...so since it's the new year, it also rolled over for him too. the last thing with a date i can find was the voice message on his phone at home and it's dated 10/27

I had a thought... I think we should all exchange Gamertag info for when Bioshock 2 comes out. That way, we can hook up through multiplayer, and see what Mr. Sinclair has to offer... What do y'all think?

I also have a PS3, so I assume a gamertag is a Xbox naming system? I go by JohnBrowning on PS Network. I hope we can play across platforms. Sorry if that is a noob dream - not sure if they will go through their respective networks or a 2K server of some kind, a la PC gaming....

....and an update PLEAAAAAASE...... LOL

Yeah. There won't be cross platform gaming. I can't afford the game for both the PS3 and Xbox, and since the majority of my friends (a.k.a. all but one Smile have 360s, I'll be getting that one. My PSN tag and XBL Gamertag are Cataclysmic V. Even though we may not all be able to play Bioshock 2, it'd be cool to play other games in the future.
