Hi guys, I am a Chinese. These 2 characters combined means "Destroy" in English. It's as simple as that.

Edit:

As a bonus I run the words in Google Translate.

If run it as Chinese To English, Google Translate says "Destruction".

If run it as Japanese To English, Google Translate gives the input as the result (i.e. unable to translate).

If run it as Detect Language To English, Google Translate gives Destruction,

and its Dictionary gives verb: 1. destroy, 2. ruin

I knew you'd be the one to talk to in order to get that translated correctly :p

Just out of curiosity, has anyone checked to see if it's stegged? La resistance might be trying to send him a further message.

Checked both "blue" and "destroy" with pngutils and came out with nothing special. They are just plain png files with no iTXT etc blocks. No metadata, only basic IHDR+sRGB+bKGD+pHYs+IDAT...IDAT+IEND inside.

If there is message also in destroy image it's in the image data. I'm checking with it next.

To a small extent... Kevin is kinda pissing me off.

If he really wants help that badly, replying to a question with more than

no.

I don't know.

or just not ignoring questions asked multiple times by multiple people would be extremely appreciated.

I think we are supposed to crack the personal key with info we already have...

But anyway, Kim Jestem said she needs our help to find her memory back, give us some stuff to decode and listen to... but Kevin hasn't once stated his objective: what does he need us for?

I hope this one is the personal key. It's got the word random in it.

New blog post!

http://kevinbalderock.tumblr.com/post/313240793/i-cant-answer-some-of-your-questions

Quote:
It's just not safe for me to talk about some things. Other places are one of them. Questions with unsafe words in them I also can't answer. Personal information is another topic to avoid. If I don't reply to you, it's not that I didn't see what you said. Usually, it means I can't answer it without risking what's left of my safety.

Some of you were wondering where I work, and if everyone works for them. I couldn't answer your questions because you kept using their name. They not only see what you say, but what you respond to.

By the way, yes, I do work there, in one of the factories. I can't say what I make. That could give me away. It's a very low-level job. Like me, most people work there. Few are higher up.

Also, hey, hello, I love following ARGs but am new to participating. I saw the new tumblr post for this one and thought I'd give you all the heads up!

There's more than just "random" in the video. I got:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"read," "write," "random," "buffered," "sequential," "signal," and--at the very end--"Drop In Only Kind Places"... naturally.

So it occurred to me that the pass might be Base64... He said it was a random bunch of letters/numbers, and that would fit the bill. I tried converting Random, Memory, Data, and 'Drop In Only Kind Places,' to Base64, none of which worked. But... Maybe?

The sentences from the first image converted to base64 aren't passwords to the website, either, and neither is mashimisho.
