Speaking of customer service, they have corrected the medals problem and I've got the ones I was missing now.

Most people used a replicator from what I heard, but I didn't; I have a trick. Wink E-mail me at danielseyedSPLATgmail.com , but if everyone already knows the trick I'll just reveal it on the blog. Smile

It's best to just reveal it to the forum as a whole rather than one person at a time.

This is ekatprof's discovery, not mine, so if anyone is going to post it it's ekatprof. I will e-mail the trick personally (or P. M.) but not reveal it out loud.

So it's someone else's trick, and they shared it with you for free, and you'll share it with anyone else for free, but not with the forum as a whole?

If you were seriously trying to keep credit where it's due or making sure you didn't reveal something you weren't supposed to reveal then you shouldn't share it with anyone at all.

Everyone on the forum could end up sending you a PM and you would have the same results as I suggested - I don't see the logic in only doing PM. Shouldn't it be all or nothing?

If ekatprof wanted to have posted the trick, I believe she would have already done so. Since the trick was only sent through e-mail, I'll do so too. Neutral

See, that's my point. If you think she was being protective of the trick, why would it be okay for you to spread it around at all, no matter how?

Would the two of you just calm down. For the record, I am not a "she". As for the trick, I just asked Scholastic, "I have looked around so long for card 423 and I still cant find the code. Could you tell me the code?" Instead of giving me the code, they put the card into my gallery. Happy? Wink

Don't have to be so aggressive over a small issue...

P.S: I also said how unfair it was that only IPhone users could get card 432 and not the general 39 Clues community when we have been such faithful supporters. Scholastic replied by entering the card into my gallery also. Wink

423: The Hunted (Trick) & (39C) Cereal

Using the name Katherine on your email (which I know is the founder of your branch) portrays you as a "she" as you call it. Also I've been blamed before for revealing others' tricks. Sad
Did anyone buy the cereal the 39 Clues sponsored? Please share more info.

 Amy and Dan
What branch are they?

What branch are Amy and Dan? I know that some people say that Dan is Janu and Amy's Ekat but are you sure? I mean, how come they're not the same? Aren't they supposed to have the same parents? Unless one of them are adopted, or unless Dan inherited the Janusness from one of his parents and Amy inherited the Ekatness from the other parent. But why would Janus and Ekats unite? And wouldn't Amy and Dan be Januses and Ekats? Why would Dan be one and Amy be one? My theory is, they might be Cahills who don't know their branch or they might be from all branches (e.g. paternal grandfather is Janus, paternal grandmother is Ekat, maternal grandfather is Tomas and maternal grandmother is Lucian) or, they might be Madrigals. I mean, Grace didn't tell them what branch they are so she might not have known which supports theory 1 (they don't know what branch they are), or maybe she didn't tell them because they are Madrigals and Madrigals should be destroying clues, not finding them, but since Grace wanted to find them instead, she didn't tell anyone what branch she is, which supports theory 3 (that they are Madrigals). So, theory 1 and 3 are most likely.

Also, in one of the Ekat archives which I broke into (I'm not telling you guys what branch I'm in but definitly not the Ekats) said that Alistair Oh was one of the "chosen ones" which were chosen by Grace, which is why Bae Oh can't harm him.

Note: Alistair Oh is an Ekat who is also a clue hunter. Bae Oh is Alistair's uncle.

Re: Amy and Dan
What branch are they?

I just made QUANTUM AGENT in the 39 clues. I gave away my agent card code away a few posts ago and it is card 1674. Update on your rank if it goes past the first three to see who is the best clue-hunter.

No one knows.

Who says Dan is Janus?
Quote:
I mean, how come they're not the same?

There's always the possibility that an agent in one particular branch married with another agent in another branch.
Quote:
Aren't they supposed to have the same parents?

Um, yes? There's Trent and Cahill.
Quote:

I don't think one of them are adopted. Although it's possible that one inherited more from one parent than the other...
Quote:
But why would Janus and Ekats unite?

They didn't. One agent does not represent a whole branch, unless it's the branch leader.
Quote:
And wouldn't Amy and Dan be Januses and Ekats?

What exactly do you mean by this? I personally think that both of them are Ekats, with Amy's brains and Dan's photographic memory and math skills.
Quote:
Why would Dan be one and Amy be one?

Nobody ever said they were one and the other. Who knows, they might only come from one branch.
Quote:

Not exactly. Remember the Australian-Vietnamese girl from Mission 2, Lan Nguyen? She didn't know she was a Cahill until recently, but she's just a Janus.
Quote:
I mean, Grace didn't tell them what branch they are so she might not have known which supports theory 1 (they don't know what branch they are),

I doubt that. Grace is smart. She would not have gone her whole life not knowing her grandchildren's branch.

or maybe she didn't tell them because they are Madrigals and Madrigals should be destroying clues, not finding them, but since Grace wanted to find them instead, she didn't tell anyone what branch she is, which supports theory 3 (that they are Madrigals).

It's totally a possibility that they are Madrigals, and that MIGHT be cleared up, because if Wikipedia is correct, Amy and Dan's branches will be revealed in Book 7:The Viper's Nest.

You mean the Email from Bae to Alistair, dated December 11th, 2008 at 1:03 P.M.? I'm not sure what's the big deal about it, because we have been long aware of that file.
Quote:

Yes, we are aware of that, because Alistair's been around since Book 1: The Maze of Bones, and we've been following the series since it started.

Im more interested...

Im more interested in how they are gonna fit this into 10 books. I mean, something will have to get Amy and Dan Off the Clue hunt, or stop the clue hunt entirely, and i dont think thats gonna happen. Whats going to happen? Margaret Peterson Haddix has a task on her hands. Or have all of the authors got together and decided their fate?
