I am not trying to make any claims about any Historical organization. Read about "The Death of the Good"...It all sounds very relevant to me.

Linking a play's overview with a 5-line description mentioning time travel..sorry, but I'm not biting (yet). If you have anything that's longer or more in-depth than that, feel free to post it (as nothing you linked in your other post contains anything significant) and I'll reconsider. The more you post saying "I DEFINITELY THINK ITS THIS" doesn't help btw; I could link you something to Back to the Future and say it's also very relevant.

I just received an e-mail saying they accepted me to be a volunteer. They also responded to my message about the "Case Study" e-mail and said:

We are unaware of any email, however, we are looking into this.
We suspect this may be a run of the mill security breach or generic hacker, and are taking further actions to secure our mailing list.
We deeply apologize for this inconvenience.
At The Blackhand Corporation, your personal security and privacy are important to us, and we would never sell or release your personal information to any outside organizations or peoples.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

I was also accepted as a volunteer (with room for growth) and issued an access code of some kind. Not sure what to do with it yet, but it's a good sign.
[EDIT] I couldn't restrain myself, I poked the bear a little asking about the "volunteer" position versus a salary. I will post if I get a reply.

I am accepted as a volunteer with room for growth in our corporation too. They also gave me an access code.

Just like everyone else I got an acceptance email with a code. Again in a volunteer postion.
I sent an email asking what the volunteer position entailed, and if I should do anything to prepare for it. I'll let you know if I get any interesting replies.

Got the acceptance and the code! Sure wish they'd actually put me on salary.

This is what I got in reply to when I asked about what the volunteer position entialed and if I need to prepare anything in advance.
"You will receive instructions from your personal Blackhand Mentor shortly that include more details.
You're in luck, however, because the volunteer position is one that can be much help from home, with very little time taken from your every day schedule. "

Ditto on acceptance as a volunteer with the appropriate code. The game is afoot. Yes I know that's from another game. I love the phrase though

Well, poking the bear yielded nothing interesting, and I quickly backpeddled:
Quote:
There was no insinuation that this was to be a paid position. It was stated in the original survey that we were seeking employees, but that we are looking for volunteers for the time being.
If you are unhappy with that agreement, we understand, and will be happy to continue without your services.
I accepted their terms and told them that I would just make it work with my current situation. Damn short-tempered PMs.
