Interesting. The list says 'Mission Bay'. This isn't even close. It's in downtown La Jolla, marked at the corner of Coast Blvd. and Jenner St. No idea what's at that particular intersection, besides the beach--I envy the person going there.

If I can squeeeeeze out of work early, I can probably make that one. I am in class/work from 8-10PM every weekday >_> (CSU San Marcos). But I'll try to make the one that's at LEAST more north! Very Happy Shocked

I also sent an APB to the rest of Team Nuriko. We're all in the same school >_> but some of our schedules are very different.

Anyone in San Diego feel free to PM me or anything considering the new coords.

Bah. The phone for the 9:23 axon in Billings, MT is was out of service today. At least the .wav was activated. Getinthegame, if you're reading this good luck. I give up.

As I said, I have to leave all other coordinates to others. I am dead-center and that makes the downtown, La Jolla, and Point Loma locations difficult for me for several days (even the Zoo is a stretch).

Should I open up a San Diego thread? It is a worthwhile goal to grow our axon.

Coordinates in Malls?

For those who have answered phones in malls or similar structures: Have you found the coordinates falling inside the structure, even relatively close to the axon location, or have you only seen the GPS coordinates falling at the address location?

I ask because Braintree still isn't hot, and if the axon is in the mall, then a.) the coordinate is WAY off (it's at an intersection outside the mall beyond the parking lot), and b.) there are a LOT of phones, and supposedly none of them take incoming calls.

13:37 shock_sticks is hot, the fifth one for that set (w00t). For future reference, the mapped coords are right on the dot - the phones are on the inside of an exterior wall at the northeast corner of 5th Ave & 10th St. The building is an NYU freshman dorm (g_d help me) - Rubin Hall, at 35 5th Ave - but the phones are just inside the door, to the right, so you don't need an ID to get in, and NYU security isn't exactly of the caliber that cares when a group of people is hovering around a payphone for twenty minutes.

There are two phones in the lobby, both Verizon phones that actually ring quite loudly when called. Melissa's phone is the one on the right with the number 212 473 8974. The incoming call is free.

There were two other 'keepers, Peter and Eric (I think?), at the phone when I arrived about five minutes before the call. We BSed about getting other phones in the city - Eric said he got the 10:33 curious_girl axon at the NY Public Library, and both of them were headed to the 13:57 tack_hammer at the Whitney afterwards. Peter took the call and had to repeat "Melissa" several times before the VR picked it up.

I'm on the lookout for some bee stickers like mrzarquon suggested; once I find some I'll go back and try to mark the phone.

So, that's all of the easily accessible NYC axons gotten. 13:23 code_word isn't far from my apartment but I won't have a chance to try it 'til Sunday, and the only other outstanding axon is the 8:01 panic_button up by Columbia. whee!

And also - go Albuquerque! exclusive_license is up!

If it wouldn't get axed, go for it. The mods might consider it a double post though Wink

Quick Biloxi update : couldn't make it in time. I am no longer trying to reach this axon. This axon is part of the asset code group, so setting it to hot likely won't advance the storyline any.

But, still. Hey, NOLA beekeepers! Biloxi's just an hour away! This is the closest you're gonna get! Hop on it!
