I'm guessing they were already on their way there. Note: Aiden asks what time it is. Maybe he's expecting them?

 		No, Kamal's the hacker. Aiden is the one who asked him to create a chatter account for one of his clients.

I think so. He hardly starting doing anything on the comp when the cop showed up. However, he seemed pretty suprised and paniced when he started saying "red." Unless this is a good show, I would say that something fishy is going on.

[EDIT] Actually, isn't it Aiden that asks what time it is. I think Aiden tried to set him up. Notice how badly he wanted Kamal to come to dinner, and how disapointed Aiden was when the cop had to leave. I am pretty sure that Aiden wanted to get him, he probably knows something about Kamal ghosting him and wanted to get back at him for that.

 		Sounds like tack_hammer fits in after the one where Kamal is whispering red like 9 times. (Can't remember the name)

Ding ding ding! You're right! That makes complete sense!

And what about where durga picks up on the convo where Aiden's talking to a hitman (") about getting "them" arrested? that makes complete sense. I bet it's not a hitman- it's a corrupt cop he's got in his pocket.

 		tack_hammer comes after pony_tail, maybe there's something inbetween. More convo between the gangster and Kamal perhaps?

Given the content, and looking at the list of options, the segment between tack_hammer and dude is almost certainly raining_cops. After all, if every cop in fifty square blocks descended on Hiro's position almost simultaneously...


and I concur with previous posters: Aiden was almost certainly setting Kamal up. Not only "what time is it?", signifying that Aiden had timed his request for a chatter hack, but Kamal's comment (in my_family) that Aiden almost certainly has resources to commit chatter fraud himself.

Fortunately, Kamal really *is* smarter than Aiden thinks, and had a hack set up in case Aiden tried to double-cross him: a false APB to draw cops to a particular location.

*Un*fortunately, he didn't think it through completely, resulting in a "rain of cops" upon Hiro's head. It doesn't seem to have seriously hurt Hiro, as he was easily bought off with Sophia's leftovers.

So Kamal got away with it... this time. However, listening to Hiro and Kamal trying to play intrigue on "trigeminal" and "red" was really, really funny. The excessively long codeword "olfactory ocular... trigeminal", Hiro's "Huh? Oh... that's me", "red red red... curtains!"...

Boys, there's a place in D.C. called the "Spy Museum", or at least there is in this century. If you intend to continue in this vein, you might want to visit it. You barely got away with this... and you just let Aiden know you're not an easily manipulable idiot. That really could be dangerous.

 		pony_tail happens much earlier I think. I think there Aiden is showing up at Kamal's place (because Kamal was refusing to answer his chatter) to ask him to come over for dinner to discuss possible freelance work.

I recall mention of one axon where one person was asking another person to destroy their chatter. I think that might come right after red, it was probably Kamal telling Hiroyuki to destroy his chatter because it just sent an officer distress call and he was about to be swarmed by cops. (Which would explain the beggining of dude). There might be another one after that where Kamal was explaining his weird behavior and why the cop was called away.

EDIT: Reading the above post, it's probably raining_cops I'm thinking of. But I'm sure it would go right after red since I think right after Hiro's chatter made the call, Kamal would want him to get rid of the evidence ASAP.

EDIT2: Searching past posts, sounds like the one I was thinking about is actually i_hate_you. Sounds like raining_cops does directly precede dude.

Yup, but he also seems disappointed that Jan used her "special powers" for shoplifting, etc. Weird.

Seems like Miracles comes right before Asset, to me.
