Another sound file has been added, I believe the date is Feb 15, 2028. When I first tried to open the file, I had to play a game of hangman, which apparently I lost cause I was sent to here.

so for me it just opened up a new window called "SAY_A_WORD.html" with some repetitive beeps, a white square in the middle and the numbers '0,1,2,3,5." Is this supposed to be the hangman game?

EDIT: I closed that window and then when I went back to click on the mp3 link, it downloaded the sound file automatically. Something bugged?

i didn't have to play the hangman game either. mozilla blocked the window as a pop-up, and at that point i just went ahead and downloaded the file instead.

Ya it blocked it for me to on FF, and I can't get it again

Lol, looks like they added the hangman game to the Desktop screen - I'm assuming its cookie triggered (if you've already downloaded the last audio file) -- you'll see a little smiley face that moves around the screen. you can double click it and it brings up the hangman in a diff window. Nifty.

... Anyone tried reversing the second audio file yet?? Since the third seemed to work that way....? I kept saying I thought it was something backward and with the third clip now REALLY makes me think im right!! ::: or suggest a program I could do it myself with??

I can confirm that the word list in the flash object has only 11 words.

Well... there are several blue moons this year - one in January in the GMT timezone.

it appears to me that both wavs have certain parts reversed while other parts aren't.

0xx04 - (normal) only parts i can make out are "when you think about it" and i think "at me" at the end
(reversed) i can make out "before she left, you told me to" and "strangest thing though"

0xx05 - (normal) "anyways"
(reversed) "i spent the entire day"

EDIT: forgot to mention that 0xx04 says the date as february 10th, 2028 and 0xx05 as february 25th, 2028

The text file from today's update gives this url: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&source=hp&q=once+in+a+blue+moon&aq=f&oq=&aqi=. If you follow that link, the first hit in google is a notation that "once in a blue moon = 1.16699016 × 10-8 hertz" as converted by google calculator. If you google the number, your first hit is *Google's_hoaxes. Scrolling down to Easter eggs you'll see "once in a blue moon" listed. Yesterday godisvoid found this...

If you right click on the box that contains "0,1,2,3,4,5", you can click "xD @ you" and it takes you to a google search page about recursion. Maybe I'm missing something, but the google suggested corrected spelling is the same spelling as the word in the actual search box?
...note "recursion" is the easter egg listed next. What's it all mean, no kloo.

* You'll have to do the search yourself, for some reason I can't get the actual url to post.

Very excited for this game. Still an ARG newbie, since the one I latched onto last year fizzled. Que lastima.

I went to the site, got ANOMALY by clicking on one of the satellites and waiting for a little bit. At least I think. The site is so busy with symbols and numbers and lights it's a little hard to keep track of what's changing because of your input and what's not. Got through the game and I now and listening to the .wav files. Also, I clicked on the date (the [2028-03-01]) and got a message that I can't remember. Don't remember if I've seen anyone say something about it, so maybe someone can check it again, because it's not showing anymore.

EDIT: I'm such a dolt. Of course you've all seen that message. It displays before the window with the sound files opens up.

Also got "Goodbye, seeker" when I've been pasting things, which is cool and all, except what I had copied to the clipboard was the phone number to my mom's doctor's office with the results from her blood test with the intention of e-mailing it to her. Any idea how I can get this back?

Decided to check out this site to see if any new ARGs caught my attention, and this did. I followed some of the spoilers to get to the desktop screen, from there I found the files etc.

It seems my version of winrar dislikes .rars within .rars and I was unable to access those, but I'm guessing they just contained the 0xx02 and 0xx03 that I was later able to download as uploads by you guys.

Each wave file certainly seems to each contain two people talking, one of which is always reversed.

In 0xx02 I can't tell anything, the audio just seems too messed.

In 0xx03, it seems that the deeper voice guy says "Just tell me if you're wife is back" or something and the other guy seems to say "Seven days now since somebody might've shown me the proof" and it sounds like someone at the end starts to say "Really?" but it gets slightly cut off.

In 0xx04 it seems that the deeper voice guy says "I'm thinking theres just someone at washington screwing with me", but some words seem to be cut off/missing. The other guy in this file seems to say, when you reverse the sound and take out the other speaker: "Just before she left she told me the stragest thing though."

And finally, so far, in 0xx05 the deeper voice guy only seems to say "Yeah anyway", and the other guy says "I spent the ENTIRE day" but again the words are a bit cut off. There also seems to be another voice that says "We will", a sound that doesn't sound like a word either backwards or forwards just after this, and at the very end a sound that is either a gun shot, or something like a door slamming.

Curious!

yet another set of files has been added to the site.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
this has a number of folders this time, making it somewhat of a maze to find the next two audio files.

there are a number of possible sentences that can be formed by the file names: "we are all something", "everything has an end" "you could get lost"

inside the "everything" folder, a series of folders leads to a "end.txt" file which says "especially dead ends"

inside the "all" folder, there is a folder called "anotherthing" and a something.zip file. "anotherthing" leads to a file called you_could_get.zip, which eventually leads to a folder called "lost" which is empty. opening the something.zip leads to you the zip with the audio files (along with a txt file called "you_found_it!" with a smiley face in the file)

0xx06.wav - upon listening, it is hard to make out anything from this, including the date. however, reversing the audio file reveals the date as being february 15th, 2028. hard for me to figure out what else is being said here.

0xx07.wav - here too, the date is hard to decipher, yet in part of the file, someone seems to say "i wish i was imagining things". reversing this file reveals the date as february 24th, 2028 (although sped up a bit). again, hard to make anything else out of this after reversing.

since we have a decent number of files now, i'll list them in order of date:

0xx04 - february 10th, 2028
0xx03 - february 15th, 2028
0xx06 - february 15th, 2028
0xx07 - february 24th, 2028
0xx02 - february 25th, 2028
0xx05 - february 25th, 2028
0xx01 - march 1st, 2028 (the date is a little hard to hear here but it seems to be correct)

0xx03 and 0xx06 have the same date, as well as 0xx02 and 0xx05. at this time it's hard to tell in what order the clips of the conversations in the files took place within the same day(s).

I didn't post this because I didn't think it was important, and I still don't, but anyway.

When you go to type in the password for "internet" 3 is the only number that you can type.

Who knows, might be important later, or maybe it could be signaling 1 of four things.

1. the 0xx03 (you know what I mean) is the most important of the files.

2. There is a third file thing inside of "internet", hidden.

3. there is a secondary password that could possibly open a different page, the password using "3"

4. There is another file coming inside of "internet"

I'm unable to make out any of the speech in the 06 and 07 files :/ it seems that these are edited in some way that is beyond the capacity of my knowledge/my crappy free program to make any sense of. Hope someone else makes some progress!

another file is up. this one is named 0xx09, but there's no 0xx08... unless i missed it.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
same location as always. not as extensive finding the file in the zip this time, and there's only a single audio file as well.

possible sentence combinations from this zip: "and down the hole we go" and "and down the rabbit hole we go"

hole/we/go leads to a text file named nope.txt with "Sorry, wrong hole." entered into the file.

rabbit/hole/we go leads to the ninth audio file.

seems the date from this file is january 10th, 2028. i can't make out anything else in this one, even reversed. it sounds as though there is a part in the file that's been extremely slowed down, but i've tried speeding it up to no success.

0xx09 - january 10th, 2028
0xx04 - february 10th, 2028
0xx03 - february 15th, 2028
0xx06 - february 15th, 2028
0xx07 - february 24th, 2028
0xx02 - february 25th, 2028
0xx05 - february 25th, 2028
0xx01 - march 1st, 2028
