what i was able to discern of the audio from the new vid is:

welcome. our people have been persecuted (by something, can't make it out) for countless generations.
we fight to bring liberty and justice back to this place.
we are united. we are strong. we are persistance.

it sounds like humans, many different ones, males and females, but there is a strange.. robotic and brainwashed quality to the sound.

how did you know it was the Easter Islands?

I took Google Earth and positioned globe to same position and zoomed in. Only island in there within small error is Easter Island. Pitcairn is too far away to the west.

 		You just need an interpreter; as far as I can ascertain, zblorb is just a type of file used for playing interactive fiction.

 		Blorb is actually collection of z-machine files and other files inside. I believe there is metadata in there.

 		Had too much time in my hands and wrote quick IFF/Blorb decoder, it seems that there is an error in blorb packaging as IFmd chunk is sent 1 byte too short.

Anyways I parsed the file and here is the cover image I found in there. Doesn't seem too special.

 		I don't think it's any use Sad (but major points for effort!) I have a suspicion it's the default one they use for games written with Inform

 		If you want to extract blorb files btw, you can also use

It seems that the story file crashes anyway if tried separately

so this is as far as I got in the game

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
open garbage can, get watch, wear watch. When you look at the watch, it says it is stuck at 8:52. I can go west once, then the cops ignore me and walk away. Continuing west crashes the game.

Going east seems to go on indefinitely.


does any one know the signifigance of

I had a dream last night.
Which is strange, since I don't usually have dreams. At least, not ones I remember, anyway. But what I dreamt was even more odd.

I was floating in some kind of huge expanse of blackness. Then, one by one, little lights appeared, hovering somewhere below me. Everything began to spin. There was a flash of white. And then I woke up.

I don't know why I'm telling you this. But, then again, why not?
