First half of the movie would be horror and suspense, leading up gradually to a revelation that everyone loves Slender Man. A small group races to find a cure or something for whatever has the entire Earth under Slendy's control, as they all migrate to him just to die. They go crazy very, very slowly. Slendy makes very few appearances until the last fifteen minutes of film, and of course, a bad ending.

I would love for Slenderman to still be this semi-secret thing where the general public doesn't really know but a group of people does

The greatest, underlying struggle would be to have the main characters figure out that learning more about him brings you closer and closer to him, and then wrestle with their own minds to desperately try to forget that he exists. I don't know. I'd just love to watch the characters go insane by partially their own doing and not just because of images Slendy puts in their heads.

I think if there were to be a Slenderman movie, then it would have to be filmed more traditionally. The handheld, shaky approach has already been done... it's called Marble Hornets.

I'd be down for helping out, too. I have a University degree in motion picture production so I can at least offer my help on any questions about production, if people have them.

The main thing about the movie would have to be STORY. There would have to be characters people care about, and the horror elements would have to help them reach their goals. If not, then it is just a slasher movie. Good horror movies follow the conventions of story, remember.

I would like it to be mainly in the forest. so that they are looking for Slendy and then catch a glimpse of him like in entry #10. Then transition to their base camp/hotel and while they are in the hotel one of their camera's films slenderman outside watching the camera. then the camera cuts to another frame where there are a bunch of people with masky faces(all of the victims).

that would be the ultimate climax, the conclusion would be way bigger and outstanding of course.

I think using Slenderman is fine, since his is sort of "public domain" on the internet, but directly using Marble Hornets scenes/characters (Masky) is basically outright plagiarism. There is already a SM movie with Masky that is handheld and in the forest; we don't need another one. Just my 2 cents.

Well shit I just had a dream and it involved slendy :S

There were a group of us [all adults - obviously when I'm older] walking down a road that's near the back of my house. We went down quite a wide alley that you can see from my window and Slendy like, slided out in front of us behind a wall to our right, and somehow got to our left [in front of us the whole time.] Anyway, there was a guy that went up ahead and he came out of nowhere and kicked him in the balls - thinking back, this shouldn't have even done anything, but it made sense that it worked in my dream. We then ran off and got into my house.

They all slept in the room at the front of my house [the one where you can't see where it happened out the window] and I slept in my room [the one where you can] and I woke up in the middle of the night at the sound of someone being sick. I remember thinking that only one guy had been drinking - I had no idea why, or why it mattered so much at the time - but when I got into that room, he was the only one that hadn't been sick. 2 people made it to the bathroom, but the others choked in their sleep. I asked him what was going on and he said he had no idea, but I already had an inkling it was cuz of mr slender. Anyway, we came into my room and looked out the window and he was standing under a streetlight in that road [not the alley bit] behind my house, just watching the window.

That's as much as I can remember, but I vaguely recall having some other paranormal dreams as well.. hrmm.

Fucking typical. The one night I don't read up on him is the night he comes for me in my dreams.

EDIT: Also, the guys? I have no idea who they are [no one in my life] but I got the feeling they were something military - which is kinda weird cuz I haven't read up on the side story where the guys a marine.. hmmmm
