All axons are "ARCHIVED"

either reads:

DATA ARCHIVED
AXON CANCELLED

or

DATA ARCHIVED
AXON SUCCESS

and are all red-orange

Er, Ceantari, that's just a by-product of the new axons being posted on hivekuts.html.

BTW, your sig - I assume it's your sig, anyway - I keep noticing game-quote sigs around, and wonder if they screw up searching a bit? (e.g. a new person sees the 'Play with me instead' text, does a search, and throws up a load of posts with your sig on it rather than relevant posts - doesn't help them figure out what it means)... It's up to you of course if you want to change it, but that's a general point I've noticed.

They can all found here: http://www.ilovebees.com/hivekuts.html

I have the same question as meta are we still using this thread for the new axons from hivecus?

I bet money that the large power outage in the Jan story arc was caused by Durga coming into contact with the system.

creepy and creamsicle are both HOT!!!
They can all found here: http://www.ilovebees.com/hivekuts.html

Here are some summaries in the order I think the clips connect:
the human heart and creepy is another conversation between Jersey and Durga that definitely comes after the first conversation between them.

standard procedure, creamsicle, and asset seem to be a murder plot involving Jan and the cop that PQI-ed her earlier.

red and ponytail both have something to do with Kamal and his friend Hiro, these clips may not be connected. (Thanks for the correction mtb_man)

I agree with Motoss about the power outage being caused by Durga's connection

I think you'll find that these are between Kamal and his friend Hiro not Jersey. Jersey is not involved in this series of wav's, only the ones with Durga.

Listen to the voices again...

Hmm. I would imagine that's a limitation of the forum search functionality - it should exclude sig text from its search (or at least provide an option to do so). Are you sure it includes the sig text in the search? As it would be stored in a separate database table I imagine it would be even more work to search in the sigs than to exclude them.

The thing I like about these stories, are even though there are three different (major) storylines going on at once, they all somehow have loose ties to each other. I have a feeling that there's going to be something major that ties all of these stories, and people together somehow....I think once we figure out what, or when that is...then we'll know what this puzzle is really all about.

I didn't have time to check that one particularly, but I've certainly gotten sigs when searching on normal text. Could be quotes, I suppose, it depends how the search works. (Certainly it would get in the way if you used Google over Unfiction, which I do occasionally when the on-site 'Search' method fails me).

Anyway, folks with in-game sigs should perhaps check that they don't get in the way. Not abolish them altogether without a thought Smile

BTW I think a different thread should be used for the new axon wavs, but there is one over in Axon Co-ordination.

Agreed, but we're still trying to assess the damage ourselves.

My two cents (it's been said once or twice by others as [SPEC], but not all together in once place, and I'd just link to thebruce's Axon page, but I am in disagreement with him on some items):

Mazian while SPECulating wrote:
I think Emergency plays as part of the Jersey/Durga storyline, at the end. (There is a short rewind at the end of the durga clip, and it sounds like a short wind at the beginning of the emergency clip.) I think the stories are all inter-related and start at approximately the same time [forum linkage], that Durga taps the CP when she wakes up in Jersey's computer, which is why we have these sound clips. I think that it's related to the Apocalypso entering orbit. (from recipe3.html)

I'm writing the below section because I cannot find a single place that ties these all together in a particular order

I think the best order for (listening to) the acts is:

(power outage, CP issues, etc.)
Act 1: Jan James/blip/pqi (because it sets up emergency happening at the end of the Jersey/Durga story)
Act 2: Jersey/Durga (ended by Emergency)
Act 3: Kahmal/Sophia/Aiden (Because based on the hivekuts clips, it sounds like Kahmal is Durga's personal interest, not Jersey's, but that she's been sharing her interest in Kahmal with Jersey.)
Act 4: Troy Evacuee/Receipt

(one week later, from hivekut)
Act 5: Kahmal/Sophia/Aiden
Act 6: Jersey/Durga (Because it refers to stuff that happened in Act 5 above, which makes sense as far as building a story.)
Act 7: Jan James/drt (because Jersey still wants more info on Jan)

ooooh... 7 acts Razz

some additional facts from the new clips:

  • troy - possibly useless history link Hellespont/Troy
  • shock_sticks - Berkeley Police referenced, [SPEC] seems to confine the Kahmal/Aiden story to the North American continent [/SPEC]
  • frustrated - the officer talks about the fire that happened "last week" ([SPEC] emergency [/SPEC])
  • on_time - the officer refers to an "arson alarm" in reference to Jan's father.
  • code_nothing - Dwayne referenced, story link from pillow
  • miracles - the officer knows that Jan James is the result of some kind of "miracle injection." [SPEC] SPARTAN related [/SPEC]

(and I agree with Sherpa that it might makes discussion easier if we separated out the hivekuts clips to a different thread, but then where would we post the links between the first, second and third group of clips?)

Hello. Fisrt time poster but i've been following this from some time ago. I know for sure this is not a trout, unless the new wavs are actually being discussed on another thread which i missed. But even if that were the case, i'm pretty sure i would be friendly trouted. So......

Here is the order i think the new wavs should have.

Durga/Jersey

the_human_heart, curious_girl, exclusive_license, ??, awful_fast, creepy

Jan/James/Cop

pigeon, ??, frustrated, ??, on_time, code_nothing, ??, right, standard_procedure, ??, creamsicle, miracles, asset

Kamal/Aiden

cute_little_caps, pony_tail, ??, bracelet

blue_then_red, ??, my_family, shock_sticks, trigeminal, red, i_hate_you, tack_hammer ??, dude

Before you read my conclusions, i suggest you go listen to them, or at least read the transcripts. Most of them are in the wiki.

About the Jersey/Durga, we learn that Durga has been ghosting Kamal. She finds him interesting, but she doesn't know why. Jersey feels guilty about the ghosting Jan stuff, and finding out everything (it's unclear to me if at this point he knows only about the "dare" or this week's events too).
However... he keeps on doing it. Smile Jersey thinks it's creepy if somebody were listening to him (hum.. we are. i mean.... Melissa is/was/will be)

Jan and the cop.
The cop threatens to investigate her "father" for the fire that burnt down her samples. He then proceeds to blackmail Jan into helping him. But he wants her to know why. He gives her a video and she watches it. Nerxt night. 8.30 pm, he murders some guy, and plans to use Jan as a witness that he had a gun, which he obviously didn't, but since Jan know how to beat the lie detector quiz.....

After the fact they talk in the car about civic lessons. He asks Jan if that girl (from the tape?) was her, what would her father do.

[spec] in the wiki there was a mention about a sound file (to do) which contained a girl screaming, possibly being tortured. I suspect that it's the video Jan saw. The cop's daughter being tortured. And the cop killing someone is an act of revenge[/spec]

Kamal/Aiden

The story continues with Kamal meeting Aiden for dinner. Sophia cooked, however she doesn't appear in the conversation. This happens after the Sophia/Kamal story (yet to be revealed). Hiro ghosting them with a plan to save Kamal in case Aiden tried to hurt him. Turns out Aiden asks for Kamal's help. Something to do with his ghosting/hacking abilities. He offers to smuggle Kamal's parents into earth.

A cop shows up, and as it turns out, Kamal needs the cop to go away, instead of show up which was the original emergency plan. So he starts yelling about Aidan's "red" courtains, which is code for a key Hiro has to press. That action unleashes a world of trouble on Hiro.

Aiden notices Kamal was being ghosted and pulled some hacker stunt to get the cop out of there. Kamal apologizes to Hiro for sending every armed officer within 50 blocks his way. He makes it up to him with leftovers from Sphia's dinner.

Wow, that was a lenghty post.

Just thought I'd throw in my 1 / 50 of a dollar here...even if the signatures are stored in a different database, they are also included in the post database whenever a post is made. Why do I feel this is true? because I just recently added an avatar and a signature to my profile. The avatar appeared retroactively on the posts I'd already made, but the signature did not. Therefore, posts do not reference the database on which a signature is stored every time they're displayed. Therefore, the sigs are part of the post.

SPEC: Exclusive_licence makes me think that perhaps there is a single story (at least for the hivekuts .wavs), i.e. all the wavs could be condensed into one large one: Jersey listens to the cop and someone who I assume is Aidan, arranging for the cop to appear (which happens in shock_sticks). This coincides with the spec that all the wav files we're listening to are things that Durga recorded for Jersey when she 'wet the system'.

However, I can't see this working so well for the links.html wavs because of the way all the stories appear to all begin at the same time (or, in Kamal's case, over a longer period of time).
