 		Nothing special, I was just hoping to alert Defiant to the fact I was still on his side while being careful in case Cooper was watching his email, since he said he had Defiant/Tyler under surveillance.

It was in this email I sent:

First word in each line after "I mean, look:" Not exactly the most cryptic thing ever, but I thought Defiant won't even be on the lookout for any hidden messages so I'm not suprised he didn't see it. Laughing

No idea about that Book of Slaves stuff could be, but Defiant sounds european (maybe swedish or finnish or something) so the typo could be genuine.

Haha, that's incredibly clever! I also tried searching for "Deficiency in the greatest", but the only thing I found was my above post, an article about football and George W. Bush. Nothing relevant. :S

The capital letters in this email spell "SOON THEY WI", which is obviously part of a complete sentenance, soon they will <something> I guess. I thought perhaps the rest of the letters were hidden in his other emails that he didn't sign but I can't seem to make any sense because there is only I's and a couple other letters, but I'll let you guys take a peek:

Problem is if these are part of the message, the only capitals I can see are:
IT
PI
IAI

Which doesn't seem to make any words, even with the stuff in the lateset message. Perhaps, though, its simply emails from now that will contain code, so I'll reply and see if his next one contains more.

Edit: I replied to Defiant with this, I'll let you see if you can decode it, though the message DOES hint at it. Wink

 		Just to update this before it gets lost - I sent an email back with a Caps message asking if security was compromised and he replied saying "MAYBE." Not sure what to ask/do next.

 		He put some pics up on the site he gave us.

Saved as "Icarus" (in Greek mythology, he's the dude that busted out of the jail with wings made of butter wax. Turns out, he flew too close to the sun and fell to his death.)



Saved as "Anubis" (The Egyptian God with the head of a jackal; represents the after-life and mummification.)

I'm unfamiliar with New York, though, if I look closely, I'm sure I see the Empire State Building.

As for the cylinders, I have no doubt in my mind that they're airborne. The filename is clearly an allusion to flight.

As for the second picture--Anubis--it appears monolithic in nature. It could be a gravestone, headstone or other burial monument, or could be an entirely different sort of place marker.

Not hugely familiar with it myself, but its one of the fairly iconic landmarks so I'm fairly sure it is. The cylinder things looks as if they're on the ground to me, but I dunno.

Its nice that there's finally an update of some description though. I mean, I've been fairly impressed at the frequency of the communication at the start, getting a picture of the characters and settings, but there's been no puzzles for us to solve or really anything for us to do... wondering if they're having problems behind the scenes that is slowing things down

 		Well, sent off an email saying I'd seen the latest files but didn't understand what they mean. However, with the recent messages he sent that were slightly disguised and that security may be compromised, he may not be able to reply.

 		Just received this from Defiant, and it sure is weird. I can't help but think its supposed to be some kind of puzzle or hidden message, but if so I'm not sure where to begin. I'll let you guys see what you think (that is, if there is anyone other than Eleven still playing this with me. Laughing)

Edit: Forgot to mention, the email was entitled "Jack of all trades", if that is somehow a clue or something.

But the one thing he could not do is stop The End.
Decades past, and The Child grew darker and The World around him followed. The Child shared the powers he had learned with a select few, and they strangled the life out of the world. They burned the world around them, and The World began to die.
The Child once again selected a few to survive. He placed them in a Great Ship and sent them into The Great Beyond. He instructed them to carry on the legacy of The Child, and The Legacy of his Kingdom. These we're the words from the last breath of The Child.
