Minifig Mission

I downloaded the Rip Countdown, and it says 238:05:29 now... It doesn't matter if I close it and reopen it, it still keeps counting down.

The Great Minifig Mission is underway and many of you are already helping the minifigs answer the call and save imagination. By logging in with your LEGO ID and taking part in missions, thousands are helping to send minifigs into LEGO Universe to take on the power of The Maelstrom. As we decipher the data flowing in from LEGO Universe, more missions will be added for you to take. Keep up the amazing work!

There are troubling signs, however, that the evil force known as The Maelstrom has infiltrated computer systems at LEGOUniverse.com

"While we are certain that there are minifigs being sent through to LEGO Universe, we believe The Maelstrom may be exaggerating the total number," said Dr John Deutschendorf from the Bradford Rant Institute. "It may be doing this in order to discourage people from taking the missions. If they think there are enough minifigs in LEGO Universe, they may not help out anymore. We would strongly urge LEGO fans to continue taking the missions and help the minifigs!"

Join the Great Minifig Mission now!

looks like we have not reach 5000 minifigs ... so we must keep doing the mission ... Bang Head

Actually, I believe what they're referring to is the counter at the top, which reached the asked-for 1 million minifigs in less than a day.

Basically, LEGO did not expect people to be so fast to get it done, which is why they both cut down the number of minifigs for mission 2 (since people probably farmed that badly, I know I did) and put out that message.

Did a little bit of looking around...
Mission 3 will be a sliding puzzle game. http://cache.lego.com/upload/contentTemplating/UniverseARGChallenges/images/pic753864A1D529246F02CE515F5DFE0558.jpg
It will come out on Fri, 22 January 2010 14:00:00
I don't know what timezone, it might be GMT.
It says mission 1 and 2 came out Wed, 06 January 2010 00:00:00, which obviously they didn't, but that is just what it said.
In the source of the page, it has this, the date is in Unix time.

The total actually seems accurate, considering the top 5 individuals make up a little less than 1/3 of it. 1/3 the total for 5 individuals, 2/3 for how many more?

I just... Well I'm not going to say, mainly because I also found a place that I can just enter in a number and it will give me that many more minifigs, I can even subtract my minifigs. But that is hacking, and I won't do it or tell anyone how.

A method for sliding puzzles if you don't already know...

Thanks! This'll help. Very Happy I'm trying to learn the C programming language... It's confusing, so I stopped for now. Even though the book said it'd be confusing and to keep reading anyway. Razz

Does it work still?

Hi there,

I think i found the page where you enter the value to give minifigs, but it doesn't work. When I input the two variables into the url, it returns a false boolean. I'm pretty sure lego patched it. Could you check?
