In all seriousness though, new character RT by @EchoBazaar - the headline-spouting Huffam, Esq., who is evidently the source of all of those headlines like the hilarious "DRUDGEWICK MAN 'KEPT SEA MONSTER IN BATH'" that have been showing up on the front page.

It doesn't show when I look at your page but I will trust you that it's awesome.


In the meantime, if anyone wants to share their nightmares with me (thereby upping my nightmares) I'd be glad to listen. I have a level 6 and I need 8 to go crazy and get back to my ambition but I can't control when I get nightmare cards.

Ok so I have a few theories on the mysteries in this game. Most of us seem to think that the second city lies in Egypt since the masters seem to dislike both and I agree with this theory.

But why do they hate it? I think it has something to do with Mr. Eaten (the only reason that I think this is because they hate him too). So I asked him about it, his answer:

I think the place is charming; the weather, delightful; the Pharaoh's daughters, most hospitable. I await your payment with anticipation.

So the only master who likes Egypt is the one who the others all hate as much as they do Egypt. This makes me think that Mr. Eaten did something in Egypt that was atrocious in the eyes of the other masters.

Note also that he specifically mentions the pharaohs daughters. My thought is that they were the first to write his name on their skin.

Oh and as a more trivial mystery: watchmakers hill is obviously greenwich the name derived from the whole Greenwich Mean Time standrad thingy for international time keeping.

Probably, more properly Greenwich Park, where the Royal Observatory was located. I also like this because of the connection with watchmakers in solving the Longitude Problem, esp. John Jefferys working from John Harrison's design. Good solve, I think.

A quick way to get to 7 is to buy a cheerful goldfish, equip it so you're at 5 again, then hit the cheerful brass-button man. He instantly ups you a level in Nightmares, but only appears at 5 - so you have to cheat him into appearing again.

I was about to denounce this as fake, purely because Names wasn't following her. But I see that Jenny and Huffam are, and so it must be genuine. Good find.

Clairvoyant is the usual spelling, as far as I know. Other than that, I see no typos/mistakes.

 		Items in the wiki
The items description on the wiki would be much more useful if each was linked to the storylet/card that provides it as a reward. It would make some of the grinding a little less tedious (I need 100 more foxfire candles? Now which storylet was that again...?)
