I'm not sure. Because for all we know, abstergo.net was just viral marketing. Because it was never really mentioned in the Assassin's Creed ARG. I discovered it while bored. I know eden4.weebly.com had been the best lead till now.


Oh, I'd thought the two were related. Who knows then, maybe Abstergo.net was just marketting as you say, or a small ARG that never really got going before the game's release, and so the site was eventually dropped?

 		Possibly? What intriuges me is the phone number on the site. It said to contact Abstergo was to call a number. Clicked on the number, and found out it was a (206) number. That means Washington state.

 		Apparently this site is somehow protected against WHOIS lookups, so if it is in fact an ARG/ARG related, they don't seem to want anyone finding out stuff that way.

Edit: Ah, it seems the WHOIS protection comes from their Domain Name SP, http://www.namecheap.com/

Edit 2: Not sure if its just this WHOIS's mistake, but it shows the search result under "AbsterGo.com" ... if thats right, it might just be a coincidence that this website is named Abstergo and I'm going to lol so hard at imagining their reaction to the email MrNeedles sent. Very Happy

 		Ok, well I just JUST now finally wrapped the game, holy mindfuck ending but seems to fit speculations.

I'm now gonna take a look at these dots on the map from the codex pages and see if they line up to anything important via googlemaps, the wiki is pretty vague about the spots hehe...
