I know this is a long shot but there have been 3 new posts in the Slender Man entry on the Mythical Creatures site. The first doesn't seem to be much but the next two are interesting:

this is a new urban legend that is taking over. the myth of "Lily" is about a beautiful youth that was brutally murdered viciously after bragging about how lovely she was. years later she has arisen from her watery grave to seek her vengeance for being horribly deformed. i am going to start a sight with pictures check it out.

The mention of a beautiful girl rising from her watery grave after being deformed is really interesting because that's connected to the videos in a huge way. The cake could be representative of a party or a time of beauty and simplicity. The way she claws her way out of the water and licks the muck reminds me of the girl from The Ring as she pulled herself from the well and a supernatural factor would make sense given the way the videos are shot. Animals are known to react to supernatural phenomenon and the fact that the girl was buried in nature could have a connection to the trees and such. This was posted anonymously.

Could this be whoami13? The wording is odd enough but if it is why didn't he register his name, he's done it all over the place.

Again, it could be someone just messing with people interested in this ARG or it could be related. From previous ARGs I know that not every post on w/e website we come across has to have a connected screen name or whatnot.
