One Player ARG?

I'm doing a project for my college class on Scientific Revolutions and I remembered reading on here that there was a game that people could play through by themselves and the game ran itself but I can't remember the name.

Could anyone help me out?

For example, the various little 10 minute games by Fourth Wall Studios. Or, going older, Online Caroline or the BBC's Jamie Kane (of course, neither of the actual games are available, but they could be as they were sort of automated ARGish experiences things of some sort)

If not those, could it be "The Deep Sleep Initiative " that you have in mind?
It was a college project; intended to be automated and replayable.

There was talk that episode two of Perplex City was going to be one-player, and replayable... but of course, it never really started. Which is a shame. Sad
