Sorry for double posting, but here's updates;

Staeld,

Thanks for sending your resume info, I have forwarded it to HR. Their
response will come from Mo Eltru.

Intriguing coincidence - A. Trey Nich, my MIA boss, received his undergrad
degree from Miskatonic U!
But that was nearly 10 years ago, so probably you wouldn't have known him,
though.

We have made some progress here as to rebuilding student schedules and
faculty class rosters.
However, employment and alumni records remain unlocated (that fact is just
between you and me;
the repercussions if/when this fully comes to light scare me shitless!) So,
if you come onboard,
you quite likely will be building from scratch, both data and staff wise.
Not like to discourage your
interest at all... just being flat out for real to a fellow IT guy!

If you're up for a challenge BIG time, this is definitely The Place where
it's happenin, man!

Cheers
Lee Roy
I trust that the fact uF is OOG means it's still "just between you and me" Wink And I honestly hope I won't have to build their system from the bottom up all by myself; the only computer language I master good enough to do what I want with it, is Bash <.< (also a tiny bit of Lolcode and Python.)

I just got into his bank account online!

He's def been in Chicago; bought a Greyhound ticket, withdrew cash;
purchase at Walmart and visited a sprayon tanning place, both in OH.
Now I'll be able to track by following use of his debit card. YES!

...very much plays like carmen san diego.

Stalled? Merged?

Has this stalled or maybe merged with another thread?

I've tried to subscribe to atreynich's Posterous blog, but keep getting an "Access Denied" message.

This may not be relevant, but the photo from atreynich's posterous blog entry on January 18 looks like part of the Chihuly exhibit that is currently at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art.

The only photos of a Macchia Forest installation I've been able to find that have the same metallic spiral overhead at the front is from the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry. Atreynich was still in Chicago when he posted that photo. However, that exhibit left Chicago in 2008. There are Chihuly macchia everywhere, but there are two large forests for sure, and at least one that travels. Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus, OH, has a big traveling one, and Oklahoma City Museum of Art has a permanent version.

So, he could have used the photo to indicate the Chicago museum, or places where there's a big Chihuly Macchia Forest exhibit. Or, I need to rest my brain. Wink

That's true, and his blog says he left Chicago, so I'm likely wasting time at this point.

Here's the January 21 entry that I haven't been able to completely puzzle out:

not going to cali for now... whack weather west

days on the run are fun
nights alone in bed are dead

catch me if you can
ignore @ great peril

Which becomes:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
www

dotraf
naibad

cmiyc
i@gp

Obviously a URL. I've tried putting it all together with no luck, so I've been breaking them up. www.raf could be any number of things; naibad maps to some sort of French entertainer, and the rest is cyber-speak, I think.

Alright guys, been lurking and I'm going to attempt to dive in. Just made a twitter and asked a few questions. Hope I can be of help!

Do we need to find out where this university is? I feel like it MAY be of help, but I'm not sure.

EDIT:
New Tweet:
"RJoal @Chann1nGeeks By law employers are required to provide W-2's by Jan. 31. Are you planning to mess with the Feds... or supply our 2009 info??
3 minutes ago from web"

IRS stuff... Cann1nGeeks sounds kinda overwhelmed with stuff? Doesn't sound all that important.

New Atreynich post

Entitled "Knowledge is power"

Only I know where the missing personnel and alumni files are.

But if I had not hidden them, they would have been destroyed.

Looks like faculty won't be getting money or W-2s.

Am I the only one following this now?

Of course, given the lack of response to anyone's Twitter questions, maybe everyone at the 'college' has given up. Sad

Anyway, here is Atreynich's latest from Posterous:

"ashes to asses, dost to dust"

Mardi Gras has traditionally been a big deal on the CC campus: The students party like hell all night on Fat Tuesday, and then skip classes on Ash Wednesday... no longer a holy day, but a quiet holiday as everyone sleeps in to recover.

Perhaps I'll sneak back there and infiltrate in disguise...

Any thoughts?
