IMO the whole memory loss angle is stupid. I know the series is, OOG, a series of videos, so having all the characterization based on that series makes sense, but why have the character be completely dumb and useless?

Oh!

I'm still sticking to the 'playing with the elements of horror'... having protagonists who are helpless or victimized is a popular one, so perhaps playing Jay up as being unreliably missing a few bolts is a play at that?

(Aside from the OOG 'oh shit it's a busy semester, we need to spread this out!' schtick that I'm hoping is the other reason!)

I too, think that the IRL Twitter would ruin it.

Come on, Jay! Upload that Entry already! It's already 8:00pm here, I think that's usually when he uploads them.

Also, maybe it's just me, but he seems kinda lazy after Entry #22. We've gotten few Twitter updates since then, and no Tweets on the day he said he was gonna do stuff. Just "How did I get here" the next day. I hope Entry #23 is epic to make up for it. I'm not ungrateful or anything, he just seemed more into it before. =/
