I'm not convinced time travel took place. It feels like en element that would be too much, too late into the story line. Nor am I sure about teleportation. There is so much distortion that hours could have gone by during which travel and darkness are completely feasible. The only exception- the only on camera change in time that took place was the initial change to darkness when Jay goes in a circle. Jay freaks out (oog: which was very well done, without having to be spoken aloud, the quick jerky movements and re-filming of previous shots to show contrast). I believe the shift was intentional and supposed to occur instantaneously because the edit was so smooth and Jay made a ppoint of filming the window, through which bright sunlight was coming through right before the change. I thought this was more of a power of Slenderman- he makes you lose time. Not lose track, but really lose it. I don't think he'll be going Back to the Future to help Marty with ihs kids anytime soon.

This may have been brought up in the last 12 pages, but I find it sort of interesting that the blood was cleaned out of the sink. Masky probably did it, but why?

The pills make an appearance again too.

I agree with KLind; this is definitely Act 3. I imagine that evidence will drop into his lap at this point (his room-cam may pick something up, he may be attacked/visited, he may receive tapes, etc), or another party will continue the investigation for him.

Weird voices all throughout "The Basement". Creepy laugh at 5:13, "Hello" at 5:20, "Hello/Seth" at 6:13, "Oh sh*t" at 6:30, "Hello" at 6:50 (same one from 5:20). These sound like audio clips more than dialog - maybe the voices are some of the missing audio from previous entries..

J was definitely being teleported in this entry - he immediately moves from the bathroom into the downstairs closet, then shortly after appears in "the basement". That high-pitched sound is probably the byproduct of the teleportation. Of course, if that's true, why do we hear so frequently in "the basement"?

just for the hell of it, i'm going to re-evaluate everything as unbiased by other opinions without really reading much to get back to the brass tax of the video.

so jay goes back to brian's house. in the daytime. it doesn't really matter, because masky leads jay into a room which would appear to move him across the hallway, and later in the day. whether or not this is due to time/space travel, or just getting knocked out and put in there is really hard to tell. but i'd judge by the distortion in the audio, we can rule IN paranormal happenings.

what i noticed when jay exits the closet and the mask is swinging is that masky has JUST left the hallway and through the door across from the closet. which, ironically, would be the dirty utility closet that was slightly mysterious before (when jay first inspects the house). jay flies in through THAT door after him and ends up in the same setting as video 22.

i can't say we have any concrete evidence that he's at the same TIME as entry22, but it is a fun idea to toss around. in game, i think they were trying to really throw us all off by having some REALLY weird crap happen, as to maybe yet another clue as to why alex wanted NO part of this.

as far as endgame: naaah. i think jay's stuck in it now. there's no way he's gonna get out.

*ps - does anyone else notice the resemblence of entry22 setting and the way slenderman might be using it, and freddy krueger with that huge industrial building he always brings someone to? eh, eh?!

anyways, hope it's not the endgame. i feel like we're just starting. :]

But if it's not, then it's all good. Hopefully TTA will take over from here and...well, do something. I just hope J hasn't gotten fed up with his more assholish fans and decided to give 'em a great figurative middle finger with this. If this is an ending, it is the shittiest ending I've ever seen, and I want a real conclusion.

Alright. I have had a night to think about the Entry, and I have few things to say.

First off, to the people who subscribe to the "teleportation" theory. Have you really sunk THAT low? I mean, I can take a little ignorance, but wow...

If you would all refer back to Entry 18. When Jay was running from Maksy for the first time, what happened? The camera shut off. *GASP*
He then reappeared in his car at another location. So, it's obvious that jay wasn't "transported through time and space", as some of you may believe. It was a simple case of blacking out. He didn't remember going into those rooms, and the camera went off, just like in entry 18.

Also, pertaining to my previous comment about this entry being endgame. I sort of retract my statement, but not all the way. We have two things that could happen now:

1.) TTA could respond with something that brings Jay back into this thing, whether it be of his own free will or not has yet to be seen.

2.) this IS endgame, and nothing else will happen.

S, please, flame me all you want, but I still stick by my opinion that the "teleportation"theory is one big load of crap.

Hi guys, I'm new here as you can probably tell, but I have been following MarbleHornets from the start. I have a theory on E/23.

When Jay was obviously taken to, (teleported to, or what ever) the house he was at the same place as Alex and (correct me if I am wrong) Seth were at during E/22.

This is my theory. When Jay goes to the Red Tower to get the other tape, he films a small hole and the camera gets all weird. I think that the hole leads down into the place where Alex and Seth were before Alex dissapeared. There was probably an old building or something above the hole that was burned down. I think that (if Jay or some other key player) decides to go back to anything they should investagate to see if there was an old house or factory on the spot where the red tower is.

I'll tell more when I get home.
