its an interesting theory that Slender Man might "become" the doll when he pleases.

If you look, around 4:40 the video distorts but Slender Man is clearly seen (but not noticed?) by J and the camera. around 5:15 he looks, to a spot rather close to where slender man has been seen, and sees a hanging slender man doll.

so its possible. I think its a good theory; it explains the distortion in 16 + 18

Here's a little proof that the basement area in 23 is the same place as 22. In case anybody needed proof.

Here's my weird little theory. I feel like perhaps areas where slenderman is becoming time/space warped. We already discussed this, but I don't think that he's actually gone back in time to the place in 22. I think he's getting, like, remnants from what happened in entry 22 which is why he hears the bizarre, distorted voice. Maybe slenderman is just trying to scare him away by showing him these things?

But why would Slendy try to scare him away and then remove all memories save those left on the tape? :\ And why scare him and then leave him tucked into bed the next morning?

May I point out, Masky may have moved the doll?

Also, alot of Slenderman stories have him somehow keeping up with the protagonist even if it looks like he hasn't moved. I'd say this is superspeed, but he would just chase them then, right?

Well, I feel like there's perhaps conflicting interests. Slendy doesn't seem to want to be known or seen too much, so he wants to get rid of evidence of his existence. But considering he can't operate technological items, he can only distort the footage and audio. Thus, Jay is a threat to Slendy, and Slendy wants him to forget about him. Now, Masky, perhaps, seems to want to keep Jay around. Masky almost seems curious; it feels like he's become slenderman's pawn but since he's clearly somebody who once knew Jay, perhaps part of him is still trying to warn Jay that something bad is going to happen.

I dunno, it's just a random idea I had.

Maybe he doesn't need to move at all to be where he wants to. Then again, why run around the playground with Alex in that early Episode if that's the case? Slendy looked like he was really booking it. If he could teleport, why not flicker away, or flick up inside Alex's room instead of pushing the door open? Etc.

At 2:25, the Operator symbol in the trashed bedroom is framed. Like it's a picture or...a...photograph...

And he's definitely traveling through time somehow. It's definitely light out when he's in that room, and immediately when he steps out of there, it's dark out. And then he goes through a different door and ends up in the same room. Don't know how they did that without cutting, but it was pretty epic. Also, does anyone else notice how he's breathing? He sounds cold.

It's obviously the place where 22 took place.

I personally don't think Slendy teleported him, but either him or Masky brought him there.

This may or may not be interesting (or picking at scabs of almost healed wounds), but in both 22 and 23 that pipe has been somewhat heavily featured.
Seems important, although I have no idea what the importance would be.

Also: it seems Jay is unaware of things like the creepy laugh and "Oh shit!" during the video. Which means that they may only have been audible to the camera. What that means, I dunno. But maybe he's not really travelling back in time so much as Slenderman is causing "echoes" of what happened there years ago. There are, after all, stories in the SM mythos where victims can hear children laughing or other sounds where Slenderman is (and yes, I am aware that those stories are not necessarily canon, just throwing that possibility out there).

Speaking of J's breathing, when he's going in and out through the doors over and over, his breathing becomes panicked.

I don't think he's travelling through time and space, I think that house is Slendy-infested. J seems to be aware that he keeps going through a door and ending up in the same spot, and his breath gets faster as he goes through the doors.

There's something very much wrong about that house, and while J may think he's done with it, I have a very good feeling that we have only just begun.
