In any case, I think that as far as the time warping (lol) vs. the blacking out is concerned, if Jay is able to walk WHILE blacking out, we'd probably have a strong case for that being the winner. I mean, if Slendy, or Masky, or both, can sort of hypnotize Jay and then wash their memories, who says they can't tug him around after them when they're on the move? Maybe Jay was told to put the cap back on the camera while going between the closet and the basement?

That doesn't really explain the shift from day to night and the way that he so seamlessly moves between spaces, unless Jay was caught under the influence, did something, and was sent back into the rooms at each point and just happened to turn the camera on again. With each 'warp' perhaps Masky (?) snagged him for an hour or five and then Jay went back to the last place he was before he was caught?

You would think that there would be some sign of him being caught or blacked out before the camera was turned off and turned back on again. A struggle, or some kind of change of Jay's behavior at each point of warp. I don't really see any -- according to what we see in the camera, it really looks like he's going through a door and coming out in a darker place where he started, and he realizes that, and he gets freaked right out. o_o

I think that's a point, for me, towards some odd 'teleportation' equivalent. The change from closet to basement seems like something different, with all of that black space in between. Is it possible that we're looking at a combination of BOTH options?

couple thoughts guys... watch 2.04 - 2.07, the camera kinda skips, from one view to another, really obviously, and when he looks around he's in a different room. which, against by better judgement, leads me towards a teleportation thing, rather than the (far more realistic) blacking out idea. (maybe we're looking at a house of leaves kinda thing?)

also, im wondering... when he pokes one of the pills, theres nothing to say he didnt pick one up and pop it outa the camera's focus. he does kinda seem to freak out a bit before he transports into the cuboard downstairs (as well as the screen going a bit crazy when he looks at slendy-doll), moving eratically and generally seeming to sketch-out. not sure if theres anything in jay being a pill-head, but i dunno.

It's obviously a frame from the missing end of the tape that was left at the tower. After Alex says hes going home to destroy the tapes, a door opens and the shadows comes after him, then, this, whatever it is.

What if Alex came back and the tape from #22 is much more recent?

Just my $0.02, I think all the cut-outs are really where the tape messes up. Remember how Jay was having trouble getting the video off the camera?

I think what happened here is that Masky is J in the future, trying to protect J from Slendy, and when Masky hangs up his mask he is saying " Its too late for me to help you, you need to take the mask now and go back in time and save yourself" Basically making it so that The J we know now is finished, and its too late to save himself from the curse, so he has to try and go back in time. And i also thing that in this, this will always happen, the events of marble hornets will go on forever in a circle.
