SPEC the_human_heart, jersey & sgt. johnson

After listening to the_human_heart it crossed my mind that jersey could be the son of sgt. johnson from halo. Heres the text of the_human_heart:
(old music plays)
J:wait, hang on. Ah, this bit is great. My dad loves this stuff. He says, well, he's away a lot, like years at a time, it drives him crazy. He says this stuff reminds him of what he's fighting for.
D:I don't understand.
J:That he can connect, he can listen to this stuff and imagine the people who made it, they cared about the same things we do, making a buck, finding a girl, rooting fot the home team. Thes old guys they really knew people they knew the human heart thats what my dad says.
D:Why are you telling me this?
J: Its a long way away you know, out to... wherever he is. He gets lonely out there. I wish you hadn't told me.
D:What?
J:About my mom.
D:Oh.

Jerseys comments about music are almost identical to what I remember Sgt. Johnson saying in Halo(i think it was the level where you first meet the flood). If someone has read the books maybe they know more, but I'm pretty confident of the connection and if Sgt. Johnson is in the sequel it'd be a good bet Jersey will be too.

Please use search. Jersey's last name is "Morelli" (sp?) not "Johnson." Father is Jason "Marelli." You can check this here. This was first referred to in the jersey.wav.

While the sentiments are the same, the music Sgt. Johnson uses as his "connection" is not jazz, but "flip" music. Flip music is a descendant of the metal music of today, or so it was told.

So, flip music would be very different (and prolly digital) as opposed to the analogue sounding jazz.
