 		My first impression was actually something else -- that it was Alex behind the camera, not in front of it, and that Alex is TTA and he is either in cahoots with, or exerts some strange control over, Masky.

God knows both are likely, though.

Seriously though, I think it's hard to say. :\ I was thinking that it was Alex filming it (it'd make sense that Alex == TTA, given the weird artsy films we've seen) but I still am opposed to the thought that he's also Masky!

...though that WOULD make sense given that Masky knew where Jay lived...

We know Alex was filming himself before, there's no real reason to presume this wasn't him filming himself again. I am certain that this video is meant to be the "big reveal" of Alex being Masky, so I think any theories to the contrary are counter productive at this point.

I'm still firmly in the "Alex is Masky, undeniably" camp. It makes the most sense, always has.

Counterproductive? Isn't crazy wild speculation kinda the point? Very Happy In any case, I was just pointing out an idea, not saying that OH NOES ALEX = MASKY CANT BEE. It would still be interesting if Masky and TTA were different people!

Several of his videos have featured music that was reversed, slowed down and distorted.

Has anyone tried stitching those sound clips together to see if they form something recognizable?

It's a shot in the dark, but....

Well, not trying to ruin anyones fun but I prefer logical speculation that seems to fit the facts we have, though don't get me wrong it can be fun to throw out wild theories once in a while, there're still guys like me that can't help rain on your parade. Razz

Anyway, J responded to Masky showing up in his house by saying "totheark knows where I live" or something, if I remember correctly, which implies to me that the guys never intended us to believe Masky was anyone other than TTA, and perhaps just Masky obtaining his own nickname - and thus not being called TTA - was what lead people to start to think they're not the same.

I think Alex was miffed that Tim doesn't return is bromance. So he mugged him and took his jacket. TOTALLY PLAUSIBLE LOLOLOL *teasing*

A comment on Regards's YouTube page says that the morse code may work out to DXX, which is 520 in Roman numerals. (No idea how this conclusion was reached, but anyway.) Playing the Regards sound clip backwards at 520% speed seems to make it more understandable than 400% as posted in the Wiki.

XD I spent a few minutes trying to figure out how to reverse sound files in Adobe Soundbooth and couldn't figure it out, then said 'eff it, I have homework to finish for tomorrow morning!' .... I'm sorry, I epic fail!

 		Okay, I really need to quit monopolizing the posts here, but I had one more thought.

totheark insists that Regards remains "untapped".
We've determined that the flashing of the slash-boxes is morse code. However, there doesn't seem to be a lot of sense in what it's saying.

Has anyone tried to interpret the code respecting the word "CLOSELY" as another dash in the code?
