The words on the walls say Rapture Awaits and I believe that is a splicer against the wall not Mark.

that courpse looks like a spider splicer... and if im not mistaken i think i can see a the lighthouse in the reflection of the porthole window!!!!! that and its not mark because in the leaked footage a quote from mark says he got there in one piece

Maybe the spider splicer (assuming thats what it is) was part of this "rapture defense system" and mark managed to kill it? And maybe wrote "rapture awaits" on the wall too? I don't see why anyone else would write that.

omg mark is leading the coast gaurd right to rapture... you know i giant lighthouse is a bit of a design flaw... especially if your trying to go incogneto

Okay, MY GUESS AS TO WHAT HAPPENED: The crew staged (or was about to stage) that mutiny Mark was writing about in his last note, but they got interrupted by a Splicer attack.

So Mark must make it to the lighthouse on the dinghy. Let's hope the crew fought off the splicers, I'd be dying to see Ferrence come down to Rapture in the game.

doesnt look like phil will be getting that letter either. might have to re-write frozen triangle now with this disapearance. also, there has to be closure for ool and linch imo. has to be one more update hopefully.
