That...that was /awesome/. I was there too. Got there with a friend a few hours early and sort of wandered by the street a few times. Few guys in black were setting up, drawing on the ground and such. They kept staring at us so we wandered off and showed up about 15 min before the actual event was to start.

Most of what happened has already been covered by Everfalling, but not much else happened in the Launch Party. The 2k folk were all there, and a few of them came up and introduced themselves. Otherwise, it was mostly socializing, eating, and drinking. There was a photobooth thing there though, and costumes so you could take splicer pics of yourself. Smile Mostly, I was just glad to be there.

I've been lurking on the 2k forums ever since July along with this forum, so I knew who a lot of the people were, so I guess it helped the experience. I was just amazed that we were allowed to go. A huge THANKS to Liz of 2k forums for setting all of this up and for a great ARG! Smile

you know i think we as a community here on unforums were kinda ignored when it came to this ARG. sure, if you mailed something, they sent you info and some swag, but no one i talked to knew what unforums even was let alone that we were solving puzzles parallel to them. the night pretty much belonged to the 2k members and i found myself kinda ronery in the crowd. oh well. it was an interesting experience to be sure.

pics are taking their sweet time to upload. if you don't wanna wait for my stuff you can look through the pics posted via a 2kforums members twitter over here:

start on page 10.

Well, I found the 2k forums through posts on this thread back when the bottle event was about to happen. Also, Liz posted here thanking us for going, and several of the members here have mentioned following the stuff on the 2k forums in parallel before...

oh god are you kidding me? i musta yelled out 'anyone here from unforums?' like a half dozen times when everyone was waiting to see the crime scene... it'd have been nice to have seen someone there i coulda talked to. everyone from the 2k forums already pretty much knew each other and clumped into little discussion groups that i felt awkward trying to get a word in edgewise... bah. >_>

Wow, I was there also. I did hang out with Kayana, but if we'd known you were there too we would've totally come looking for you. Bah!
We were mostly lurking in our little duo, and yeah, it was a bit awkward mingling with the 2kforums people (not that they weren't really nice people, just... they all seemed to know each other and... yeah). Razz

I reckon the second body, that had the shells by it might have been Lutwidges, maybe he got hurt somehow, played dead and then ran away. That would explain that wanted poster, I mean who else would Lutwidge want to kill. Or the posters from that ordalea killing.
