Talking to myself... New on Atreynich's Posterous:
"some nerve"
that f-ing tech terrorist is taunting tweets as @hakkrRULZ_uFAIL
On Twitter, the alleged terrorist says:
if atreynich returns to scene of crime (campus) it's a safe bet he'll hook up with Prof Graham

New Tweets A_R_Graham
@Chann1nGeeks Thanks for getting our payroll disbursements processed on time! Now when can we expect to receive our 2009 W-2's?
Chann1nGeeks
@A_R_Graham Use the totals on your Dec. pay advisory for 2009 tax info for now. @atreynich moved or deleted pay/HR & alum records. Sorry.

New Posterous from Atreynich Run, Trey, Run!
One ran before me, Evan was his name.
Four will follow me, their names are yet unknown.
Clues are there, for those who care.
Wire Ed.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Obviously this is referring to the Evan Ratliff thing on "Wired".
Any thoughts? Anyone? Bueller?

I think he's referring to today's tweet from theatavist aka Evan Ratliff:
Quote:
RT @nxthompson: wanted: four people to drop lives and go on run for month. Win 10K if not found. http://bit.ly/ccVoai #vanish #repomen
which leads here: http://www.wired.com/vanish/2010/02/do-you-want-to-vanish-and-win-10k/
Quote:
... Now we're going to try the experiment again. Evan, Wired, Loneshark Games and I are working with Universal Pictures to do another, similar contest connected to the new film Repo Men: and this time we want you to go on the run. We need four applicants willing to disappear from their lives from late February to late March...

Thanks Trillian! So, are we expected to believe all this atreynich stuff is this contest, or that it's just similar?

I had played around with this using first letters, but was constantly being interrupted by my children, and discouraged by lack of forum participation. This morning, boosted by adequate caffeine and occupied children, I tried this:

This seems to be a legitimate business, though, so I'm not sure where to go from here and my family is calling. Hope one of you has time to dig today...

On the Beach
It took like an eternity on Greyhound, but I got out of the snow band states just in time.
Gonna hang out here until time to head back to campus for Mardi Gras.
Unless of course someone tracks me down before that.
But looks like I'm gonna hafta take the game back into their court...
most of the clue chasers apparently have wandered off.
Guess I've been too subtle for them?
Of course Lee Roy has been too busy to leave campus...
but thought he was techie enough to track me via the web.
*Sigh*
But, like Dorothy said, "There's no place like home!"
Maybe I'll get 1 night, at least, in my favorite bed?
Personally, I find "...too subtle..." a bit much. There's a difference between subtle and randomly obscure. I'm also tired of playing by myself. Do we even know where the campus is?

We don't know of any physical campus, as far as I'm concerned.
Apparently, my application for "head geek" was accepted, but I never got word back if I got the "job" or not. So I've just basically been waiting.
Also, I'm European, meaning this game of hide-and-seek is pretty much hopeless for me, if there isn't a way to properly track him down via the web; but then again, the point must be to find and return him, no? Can't do that on the web.

Viewing the page source, I found:

Genocide means never having to say you're sorry
Thoughts, anyone?
ETA:

SMH on the PM
I don't know if that's another clue, or just a techie thing.

From this:

Mardi Gras has traditionally been a big deal on the CC campus
the physical campus could be
http://www.dcc.edu/
From the list on page 5
http://www.crpc.org/
and the beach/ snow line stuff, he's now in Fort Lauderdale..?
Does that mean anything?

How did you get dcc from the crpc site? I'm not finding it there. Can you 'show your work'?

I think Ft. Lauderdale is a hit. Based on Atreynich's previous 'comfort food' restaurant choices, I think he can be found here:
I think I'll message Lee Roy and see what happens...

Or maybe The Field Irish Pub and Eatery near the airport...

Because...
All three restaurants have

There are surely other connections /combinations.
Its not like "gluten-free" but its something.....
