You know, that could very well be it. It just feels weird that Tim would have such a large roll, you know? That would mean that Alex is out of the picture for real... or at least that his roll is long over.

I'm still of the opinion that Tim is masquerading as Tim (or the other way around! Heh!) but that he's working closely with TTA.

It just seems like they wouldn't have made Tim so prominent later on (there was a big gap between #9, where he was just an actor, and whichever entry in which he showed up again) if they weren't intending on doing something with him.

I don't know if I would consider Masky creeping around Jay's bed to be "compassionate" or "caring," but it does fit in with his overall personality. To me, Masky seems like he's toying with Jay - showing him that if he really wanted to, he could hurt him. I mean, he's been watching Jay for a long time, he's aware of everything he does, and has even been in his room. The three different personalities could be different aspects to the same person; it doesn't necessarily mean that there are three different people wearing masks.
