Faye looked at Terrence in surprise, noting that he seemed to be growing accustomed to the group.

"Thanks, Terrence. That means alot." she smiled warmly back at him, thinking that he reminded her slightly of her older brother. Maybe it was the way he held himself. She didn't really know.

She jumped slightly as a hand touched her shoulder, letting out a small squeak before Gavin whispered in her ear. She shook his outstretched hand, offering him a small grin as well, adding "Knowing my brother, he's been evading Slenderman by pure luck. That's how Jake is." she laughed quietly, calming slightly.

Slight movement caught her eye, and she saw the newer girl looking around at everyone. That's weird...she looks completely calm. Admirable though. Wish I had nerves that good.. She cautiously introduced herself.

"I'm Faye. What's your name?"

(OOC: Oh crap. I miss two days and a lot has happened! Gotta get reading all of it now. Or, could I have a quick recap of what I've missed pretty please?

"I'm Mia," she said to the girl, Faye. Her right hand was holding the pipe, so she didn't outstretch it. "Nice to meet you. Why are you here? Did you live here?"

(( Gah yeah we got a bit excited! What's the last thing you remember happenin'? I'll recap from there.))

"I used to live here, yeah." Faye said, fiddling with her gun. "I moved away to college last year, but my brother still lives here. He hasn't been answering his phone or anything for weeks, so I came back into town today to investigate...and found this mess." Faye looked Mia up and down quickly, then asked, "How about you?"

It wasn't much, but something about the gratitude in Faye's voice made Terrence feel good about having tried to help, and strengthened his resolve and desire to help with these people's predicament.

His blue eyes turned toward Gavin, who seemed none too happy with the white-haired man's invplvement. He cocked an eyebrow at Gavin in confusion. What he saw was susicion and hostility, but the rest of the group seemed fine with him.

"Have I d-done something to upset you?" Terrence lifted Mike into the factory with David and grunted, turning back to Gavin.

"I apologize i-if I have offended you in some w-way..."

Gavin sighed. "You didn't do anything it's me mostly. I care about each and everyone of these people because they're all I have now" he said after pulling Terrance aside. "It's just that you came in and seemed like you knew everything and would take charge. I see your not that person and I'm sorry." Then Gavin said something very quietly, "If you get paired with Faye, Mike, or Alison I'm putting you in charge to keep them safe. If one of them dies on your watch then you die."

They were silent for a few seconds then Gavin smiled. "I'm sorry, but I promise I won't be an ass to you like that ever again. We cool?"

"I don't know," Mia said, shrugging. "I actually don't remember anything except for my name. I just woke up in the forest and wandered into town, but no one was there. I saw that tall guy running around a bit and heard people shouting... So I set up camp in that house."

He shook his head, chuckling- another new thing for Terrence, so it almost sunded like coughing.
"It's alright, I d-don't mind. I also un-understand your party is in a str-stressful situation." Suddenly the blue eyes turned fierce, and the lips thin. He took a glance at the rest of the group protectively, and looked back towards Gavin, staring into his eyes.

"B-but do not threaten to kill me. It w-would be unwise t-to thin our numbers unnecessaril. I w-will do all in my p-power to portect these people, just as much has you have, m-my friend." The tall, sixfoot man stuck out his hand awkwardly for a shake; it was a mimic of the gesture he'd seen David do earlier, and he was hoping he had done it correctly. Social interaction was not his strong point.

Gavin shook his hand while smiling.

"As long as you don't let anyone die under your watch I won't have to use my gu-" SHIT Gavin had given away he has a gun. If this adult thought about it for a while he would realize that the youngest of the group shouldn't have a gun over others.

Oh dear god don't let him figure it out. Gavin needed to be able to protect these people somehow and without a gun he would just be a worthless teenager. In an attempt to not give Terrance time to think Gavin walked back to the others and said, "Alright how are we going to decide who is with who in these groups. And by the way David" he said glancing around the little room, "where are we?"

Mia watched the two guys have a short conversation, then the white haired one stuck out his hand, a look of intensity on his face.

"What's their story?" she asked as the two shook hands. "Especially the guy with the white hair. What's his deal?"

David scanned to room they were in, it was filled with several cots and footlockers. "Alright lets put him on this cot and keep an eye on him. hopefully he'll wake up soon, when he does fill him in on whats going on" he said to terrance. he then looked at each member of this ragtag group he seems to have taken command of, "al right people search this room for anything useful but make sure to stay in this room, i don't want anyone getting lost. Faye, you'll be oming with me to look for some radios in the ajacent rooms." I don't know what it is but i have a feeling i have to keep her close and theres something about this place...
