So where can these masks be found, just about anywhere? Because I'd really love to create my own custom style mask similar to Masky's. XD

Michaels! Even in Canada! Woot!

Also... you know the big slendy doll?

THERE IS A TINIER ONE THAT LOOKS ALMOST EXACTLY THE SAME.

*sorely tempted to purchase and paint a mask-face on the front*

Hee hee, art classes are good for everyone. If nothing else, they teach you... patience. XD

D: I have a whole new respect for the person who painted that mask. I never draw on anything that isn't a tablet or paper, so anything with contours makes my craft go straight down the toilet!

Also, the top of the mask seems so huge, I wonder if they somehow trimmed the forehead down...?

This image of me is cleverly disguising keeping the mask from falling off my face with cutesy fingers. Please don't mind the cavity-inducing pose XD. Hmmm, should paint the inside of the eyes just to keep those white bits from showing up. Any other suggestions?

(And now that the mask is 'done' whenever I glance over I kind of cry a little and think of that old Goosebump's story with the mask that takes on a life of its own. ;______; Curses!)

I used to love that story! It was one of my favorite goosebump stories back in the day. Nice mask though. Razz

Now I have more clear reference for fanart! 8D

They're only about $8.00... probably less in the US. Canada's economy always blows just a little bit more.

@Slendo: It was the very first one that I ever read! With the narsty green goblin mask on the front?! One of the scariest given that I read it when it first came out, so I was still wee!

Thanks! I pass on all of the credit to the original creator(s), though. Redoing what was already done is weird territory.

On a different note: OH GOD YOU GUYS! XD JKat and I just pulled fantard epicness by going down to Michael's and picking up a couple of Masky masks. XDDD I'm both ashamed and gleeful. On the one hand I know that it is ridiculously lame to geek out like this but on the other I'm enjoying being a shameless nerd by imitating a series that I'm really enjoying. XD

If only I looked decent with really short hair... the mask looks kind of 'eh' with really long hair. :\ We have a friend who is super tall and is willing to let us to attempt to Slendify him so...

Yay! XD

That is all.

FUUUUUUUU-
/massiverage

I couldn't find them when I went earlier today.
Sad Mad

You're talking about the one in the Brentwood place, with the Ikea et all, right? We asked a lady where they were kept and she had to pull a box down from up on top. There were two or three left when we checked out the box even after we snagged ours!

AWESOME.

If I was still in your area I'd totally go embellish it... but I won't be back out there for a few months.

Not Slenderman per se, but the design of one of my characters was heavily influenced by 'Masky' of Marble Hornets.
