J: helpless victim or left out of the loop?

If you really think about it there isn't much left to ponder about Masky, Slenderman, or J for that matter. What im trying to say is why J? of all the people who knew about slenderman in marlehornets, why was J the only one left out of the loop while Tim, Alex, Sarah (possibly), Brian, and Seth lost their minds.

Just think about that

I think J had the most peripheral involvement in Marble Hornets and so therefore would have been the least "marked" by Slender Man for (investigation / stalking / brainmunching?) as compared to the others. It seems likely that MH was somehow the catalyst for Slendy to start stalking its cast, or at least it was during the movie's filming that the Slender Man ball really got rolling.

On the other hand, if Jay was Alex's good buddy during the time of filming and had helped with the script writing (as seen in #20), that could play a major part. There's some wicked distortion when we see the actual script come up. That says something in terms of where our cast's dilemma is originating from...

Hm. I'm guessing this might somehow tie in to the whole "J is gone..." speech. He doesn't seem to have been affected by the whole thing like Alex, Tim and Brian were (Seth too, perhaps. And no I'm not forgetting Sarah, but I have no idea how she'd figure into it all.) Yet Alex specifically mentions that he is "gone", which pretty much everyone regards as being peculiar.

I'm inclined to agree with the Rogue Wolf, though at the same time I can't help but feel that J was tied into this fairly early, along with everyone else. This is why he had memory loss even back in the time of the Marble Hornets shooting. Yet somehow he pulled out of it while the others didn't, and was unbothered by any of it until he actively started seeking out the source of the mystery.

I don't really know what to make of any of this though. I've kind of resigned myself to speculating until I get more concrete information and, y'know, get an idea of what the hell is going on.
